This book was amazing. I loved Lev and his family. I loved the story as well. This is not actually a mafia romance, but has some elements of it. I loved the author's writing style and I am gonna read more books of hers.

Lev .... Beautiful
I'm aware this book has been out a while now, and yes, I'm a little late getting to it. But after a recommendation from a friend I bumped it up my reading list ... and I'm so glad I did!I have read this Author before, so I knew I enjoyed her writing style.Right from page one I was hooked, even though it was such a sad start to to the book. I don't like to divulge too much about the storyline in my reviews, as I don't like to spoil the experience for the reader.First we meet Mina, a young homeless girl in a dire position, which pulls at your heartstrings. Desperate times call for desperate measures and certain events lead her to Lev, her unlikely saviour.Lev is unlike any hero I've read before, loved him. He's complex to say the least. He doesn't know how to interact with people very well and also struggles to read them. He claims he can't find the right words to say, but let me tell you his words are beautiful, they have your heart melting... And your panties. From the moment Lev and Mina meet, they see each other and form a beautiful friendship. You can't ignore the chemistry between them, I was urging them on all the way. There is plenty of drama in store for this couple, and some disturbing secrets to be revealed. This is a beautiful book, beautifully written. Really enjoyed it.A 5***** read for me.

Belle Aurora is great at what she does
Belle Aurora is great at what she does. Her stories flow well and I always feel satisfied when I read one of her books. She isn’t scared to try different storylines and she manages to captivate me everytime. This particular story is a bit different to her usual books (with the exception of Raw), she normally injects quite a bit of humour. This book doesn’t have so much humour, which isn’t a bad thing. It’s good that Belle challenges herself withdifferent themes. This story involves a hero that has issues and I don’t mean skeletons in the cupboard that has defined him today but ratherhe has genuine emotional issues. He sounded a bit like he had aspergers but it doesn’t actually clarify. In most books of this type of genre thecharacters are perfect so it’s refreshing to have imperfect characters.I thought the storyline of a girl on the streets was very realistic and honest. It’s a knight in shining armour saves damsel in distress witha chink in his armour type story. This story was great but I will be honest as I think this author deserves honesty and it’s just my opinion; it did lack a bit of excitementat times. I still wanted to see what happened and enjoyed the book but there was just something missing for me and maybe a bit too muchof intertwining of characters.

A Real Success
The basic plot alone was a winner but the way in which Aurora executed it made it phenomenal. We meet Mina at the brink of death but she is soon swiped up by protective and loving Lev. He gives Mina the chance to have things she's been deprived of for years; food, shelter but most importantly love. Our H Mina was a strong and wise character who was shaped by the background revealed to us. Aurora never just mentions something in passing and moves on without an explanation, this allows a deeper more comprehensive understanding of the Heroine and her actions. The other characters aren't just fillers, however they hold our attention without distracting too far from the plot. The snarky one-liners and their confident reactions allow convocations to feel more life like rather than forced and bitty. One of the successes of the book is the way in which we are introduced to the secondary characters; we aren't assaulted by a wave of names and descriptions. Instead we meet the brother then the sister, a connection is formed then we're introduced to the next set of characters. I found this made the book not only flow but also read easily.Additionally a dual POV is always a winner in my book. It forms a connection between you and the characters and leaves you shouting at them because you can't see into the characters minds like they do. I found the chance to hear Lev's opinions especially important because without that I feel he would have been a more two dimensional character as he isn't very expressive by nature.

Ughhh
I really liked the idea behind this book and the story line with the H, who is strong and sullen rescuing the h who was homeless and generally having a crappy time however the writing really let the book down. It was weak, there was very little character development , the h was ungrateful and really annoying and suddenly it became a mob story. The main characters fell in love in about two weeks which is always frustrating and apart from this, nothing really seemed to happen. Ever time it seemed like something was going to go wrong it was always resolved instantly and was really anticlimactic.Another thing that I really disliked was that every now and then another character became POV with no impact / relevance to the story line. The writing was just so inconsistent and weak that I really struggled to finish the book

Good read but left me underwhelmed
I did enjoy reading this book, I loved Lev, i loved reading about a male lead who was that little bit different, and the heroine wasnt your usual whiney lead like alot of books portray the leading ladies. I loved Lidi and the supporting characters and i really enjoyed the storyline, BUT and heres my negatives, first there was the issue of SPOILER Minas brother and uncle, of all the people in the world it had to be someone connected to levs family, why on earth did we have to have the familes linked together like they were, it was a little unconvincing and unbelievable, also the ending, it left me feeling underwhelmed and i still feel like i havent finished the book as there was no real closure, towards the end we get snippets from the some of the supporting characters and i felt this was put in just so the author can use this as a way to introduce us to their future books, also everything got wrapped up too nicely, all that was missing was the bow! and the end/epilogue was a major letdown for me, we saw no wedding, no fast forwarding to a few years later to see just how lev and mina were doing, it just sort of ended and that is why ive dropped a star
