The metal is so soft and thin that the wire easily pulls out after crimping, no matter how hard you crimp. Potential for shorts and not at all good for vehicle use with all the vibration and movement.After trying several sizes on several gauges of wire and even doubling the wire back for a better crimp connection I gave up using these.

Color connector for my auto electrical projects: if your a weekend car guy this kit comes in handy when you need connectors. Working a car you never know when a simple item like a connector can hang you weekend project. This kit contains all I needed and with different colors its perfect.

These are pointless when you plug them together the metal is still showing between the 2 connectors , not safe they can arc out on other connectors or a grounded surface . And what is the point of having the wire end sealed but you can't seal the connector together ,not water proof ,either way the metal shows when connected together and there is a ridiculous amount of plastic seal tube to seal the wire but not enough to cover the connection

Not sure if these are waterproof since my application doesn't require it and never gets wet or damp but I can attest they work great in dry conditions. A great deal at this price as well.

Connectors are OK, the insulating sleeves like to slip off the fittings until the heat-shrink has been activated. But the box is really flimsy, plan on using your own organizer box.

Only needed a couple to upgrade my cars janky stock horn to a nice deep “Hella” HONK!! I can see myself using these for lots of upgrades and projects so it’s a good set to keep handy. The heat shrink only goes so far, so make sure you’re using the right size and correct gauge wire. Might do my stereo system next.

Usable, but not great. Connectors are a little thin and soft, usually need to straighten and tweak them after crimping. Not the best quality I've used by a long shot, but they work ok.

These work great. Hear shrink seals well, crimp stays put, and connectors join properly. Much cheaper than buying at the auto store, and you have a handy box instead of lots of little cardboard containers.
