8"x 8" hand painted ceramic tile. Originally designed by the artist. Individually glazed and fired, the tile can be used either as a hotplate or decorative picture. Each tile also comes with a wood backing which enable it to be hung on the wall or stand up for easy display. The backing can be easily removed by soaking in water overnight, and the tile can also be tiled for backsplash or picture behind the stove. Keep in mind, each tile is one of a kind.PLEASE NOTE: Some natural crackling can be noticeable. This occurs during the finishing process. This does not mean that the product is defective.
