Man are these delicious wrapped in bacon.
I'm from Ohio, so these aren't that popular here. I was so excited when I stumbled upon them. Pretty expensive but that's every brand because they are a delicacy. They make great hors d'ouerves wrapped in bacon or prosciutto and baked to a crispy caramelization. Sparks conversation between guests when they can't put their finger on what that is! Beautiful color and delightful texture combined with this sweet pickled flavor. Leaves you wanting more.

I Really Don’t Know
It looked good when I got it, but it burned up in the Eaton fire on January 7, 2025, before I could use it.

Corn Syrup Ruins the Texture
My fault; should’ve read the ingredients. While the flavor was decent, all the corn syrup (!) made the texture of these watermelon rind pickles too soft and slimy to eat. Tossed the whole jar.

I love this stuff
Our local grocery store has ceased to carry it. Can’t find it in any other groceries as well, so I got it through the web. I’m back to being happy!

I need to stop watching cooking shows
Bought on a whim because it was ingredient that kept coming up during cooking shows. I was curious. I tried to make my own but laziness sunk in. For the price, I will probably make my own, but worth having it done for me. It adds a neat kick to salads and I even tried it chopped finely on raw oysters. It was kind of weird, but I have lived to tell the story.I recommend buying it and this brand seemed like it was a good brand to buy.
