This is the best soap ever!!! Be careful, though, if you think you might be sensitive to essentials oils.I bought this soap for my daughter, who has very sensitive skin. She tried it and loved it so much she raved about it to me every day. However, after a few days of using it, the mild acne on her forehead turned bright red. I had her go back to her old face wash and her skin returned to normal within a day. I suspected that the essential oils in the soap were the problem, as my daughter often has skin reactions to things other people readily tolerate. The seller had followed up on the sale with an email welcoming comments, so I emailed to let the company know what had happened. I did not request a refund because I planned to use up the bar of soap myself. However, I told them that they should make an unscented version of this soap so my daughter and others like her could use it. The owner responded very promptly, let me know that they DO make an unscented version of this soap but just haven't gotten it on Amazon yet, and said they were mailing a bar of it for my daughter to try out.Meanwhile, I started using this Rosemary Mint version since I know I am fine with essential oils. I am 71 years old and have suffered from itchy skin for the last couple of years. About a year ago I switched from bar soap in the shower to a natural Shea body wash, which helped a lot; however, I still had three large patches of skin that itched every day even when I didn't use soap or body wash on them. I didn't expect anything from this soap; I just didn't want it to go to waste so, instead of using it just on my face as my daughter did, I used it all over. Imagine my surprise and delight when, after two days of using this soap, all of the itching went away!The only itchy thing left on me was my scalp, which got better after I stopped using shampoo and just used conditioner, but still was enough of a problem to cause me to scratch multiple times a day. On a whim, I washed my hair with this soap. It left my hair looking and feeling like straw, but the itching went away! And, after that one washing, the itching has not returned. I would just caution anyone trying this to plan on using a very good shampoo and deep replenishing hair conditioner afterwards to get rid of the straw effect.Meanwhile, my daughter has been using the unscented bar the company sent gratis for a month now with no problems, and she still loves the soap. I just placed an order on the company's website for the unscented soap, which both my daughter and I will be using from now on. I found the rosemary mint scent pleasant, but unnecessary, and with the unscented version my daughter can use my soap if she runs out.I don't think I've ever left a review this long for anything else. Just wanted others to know that the rave reviews that caused me to order this soap are apparently not at all exaggerated. It was fortunate for me that the company had only this bar on Amazon, as I would never have tried it out for myself if my daughter had not reacted to the essential oils. Knowing her, I would have ordered the unscented initially and considered ourselves lucky the soap was working for her. I never would have known it would help me too.

The soap is great. Smells fantastic and leaves skin feeling super soft. But the sock is mesh that breaks easily.

I received this soap as a gift from my Father who had it shipped to me after hearing my many complaints of this dry rash that I HAD on my cheek & my elbow. I've been using it for the past year and a 1/2. Its visual when I run out as the ugliness starts to show on my skin. The ingredients work absolute wonders!! My skin is soft, has moisture, looks cleaner too. NO more darkness! No more itching! No more flakes! It helps eczema n psoriasis. It's good for your entire body, from head to toe! You should also try theie little hand lotion as well.

I bought this soap because I was desperately looking for something to help with my eczema.I’ve had eczema flare ups all my life and typically I would use topical steroid to get it under control. Lately my body has built up a tolerance to the steroids and they no longer have the same healing effect.My most recent flare up became so unbearable that I had to resort to natural methods of healing. I’ve tried oat meal baths, lavender oil, etc. and nothing worked.I came across this soap in my amazon recommendations and I decided it was worth a try. I’ve had it for less than a week and I’ve already noticed a drastic improvement to my skin! I am overjoyed by my results and I would definitely recommend this soap to anyone who is at their wits’ end with eczema flare ups!Such an amazing product!

I like the soap a lot. I bought this product to hopefully reduce some skin irritation. (so it hasn't made a lot of difference for that ) The soap has a very pleasant fragrance and seems to clean well. I've bought several types of these "goat milk" type soaps from several vendors. If I have a negative for this brand, it's that this type soap seems to be used up faster than other types and this brand in particular compared to other "goat milk" soap types. BUT, it's not that bad and I do like the product. (I also haven't worked my way thru all of those that I bought. (only 3 brands so far) I "would" buy this type again.

I have mild to moderate eczema on my lower legs as well as around my elbows. taking showers even with just water with sometimes aggravated it. I've experimented with using this product just on my lower legs and I'm noticing mild improvement. I'm more comfortable showering more frequently. It's not a magic cure but it is showing slight improvement with more frequent showers we're before showering more frequently made things worse. When I get done with the shower I make it a point to air out this far so that it will last longer. I have always preferred to use bar soaps over buying wasteful plastic containers that I would have to throw out. this has a very mild sent that I like an while I am a woman I think that if a man where to purchase this he would not find it too feminine.

This soap is amazing ! I have extreme dry skin, allergy prone skin and have had whelps after using regular soap. I’ve had urticaria in the past with swelling of my face and have had to have epinephrine shots and they could not find what causes it. TBH I did not know this had lye in it when I bought it, I would have been afraid it was too harsh, but it’s not. It smells SO good and my skin feels soft, clean and I have no irritation. I still need to follow up with lotion but ALL the burning and stinging of my skin when I get out of the shower is gone. Miracle soap ! Will keep buying !

I’m hooked on these goat milk soaps from Southern Naturals. During this viral pandemic, these are indispensable. I finally converted my husband, who was breaking out in a rash on his hands and wrists from antibacterial soap. He was afraid this soap would smell like a goat. Lol! These actually have a gentle mint scent, with a slight rosemary aroma. And he commented how soothing it felt to use goat milk soap. BTW, his rash started to clear up the very next day. In 3, it was gone.
