Invigo Fresh Natural Latex 2-Inch Twin Mattress Topper, White

Have been sleeping on this item for two weeks and find it to be fairly comfortable. It doesn't relieve pressure points quite as well as the 2-inch, 4 pound density memory foam topper it replaced, but it sleeps much cooler and its firmness is not affected by room temperature. My main complaint... its dimensions are only 58x78, not 60x80 as advertised. The missing two inches of width are very noticeable.

My son has been complaining about his bed for about 3 years and a new mattress for a pre-teen was the last thing on my list of important purchases. I decided to try the Invigo which I had heard a lot about, as I was still trying to avoid purchasing an entirely new mattress. (The mattress is probably about 25 years old - I think it was mine when I was in college so it's pretty bad.) It came in, my son asked me what it was, I told him it was a new topper for his bed and he was so desperate that he immediately opened the box, pulled his sheets off his bed and completely re-made the bed with the topper. Until that point the child had been pretending that he didn't know how to make the bed, so the purchase price was worth it just for THAT.Complaints are OVER. He loves his bed now. I took a good look at it as he was putting it together. It's in a really nice cover, very nice thick and soft material. The cover material is so nice that at first he was just tempted to put it on top of his sheets but I wouldn't let him. I don't know how to describe the smell, except to say that it just smells clean. It's not a scent - I hate scented things - it just smells like clean sheets that have come off a clothesline. It is a huge improvement over the smell of that egg crate thing we used to have and it smells better than brand new mattresses.It's apparently easy to make up the bed with it - even a bunk bed - because the 13 year old boy managed it just fine. It lays flat on the bed and doesn't move around as you're trying to get the sheets on.And it feels WONDERFUL. It doesn't feel like a Tempur Pedic which I think feels a little weird and uncomfortable. It's just like having a cloud under your sheets. It's soft but not so soft that you don't still get good support from the mattress. Honestly it made his bed feel as if I bought the most expensive pillow top mattress on the market, except better because it's not so huge and heavy. Regular sheets still fit easily over the bed - you don't have to buy those extra deep pocket sheets to fit it.I want one for all of my beds. I think they also have a line of mattresses and I'm dying to get one for myself.Now my only problem is that I can't get the 13 year old boy to get OUT of the bed.I recommend it 100%, even if you like your mattress.

The Pros: The topper came quickly, already had a cover on which was great, odor was not a problem for me. Reasonably priced for what I thought I was going to get. Did not heat up like the memory foam topper I had in the past. Returning it was nearly effortless.The Cons: 2 inches = 1 inch of foam and 1 inch of egg-crate latex. Not a discernible difference from my pillow top mattress esp for the price because it collapses when I lay on it and has no support. Just feels like a slim layer of padding, again, not much diff from my pillow top mattress.Result: I'm returning it after using for a week, which was easy because the company actually came and picked it up after I squeezed it back into the large box it came in. If you have a good mattress and no need for support, or you have a thin or hard mattress that you'd like to fluff up a bit, then this should work as a comfortable solution. I'll warn that I'm spoiled from the 4" 5lb density memory foam topper I used for years before I tossed it, but I wasn't expecting to replace that with this item. I did expect it to offer some support.

The first thing I noticed was the cover. I've purchased lots of toppers over the years and none have ever come with the cover already on. It was so nice to not have to wrestle with trying to put it on! The cover is so soft you could sleep right on it. My young son, who I bought this topper for, said, "oooh it's soft and snugglie." It went right on his bed with ease and made it super comfortable.The main reason I purchased the Invigo Fresh Topper was because it said it had an odor neutralizer. My son sweats a lot in his sleep and after just one or two days his bed smells and plus the dog that sleeps on his bed during the day doesn't help either, so we just change his sheets constantly. We've used Febreeze, but I hate spraying chemicals and stuff, especially on his bed. The Invigo topper has been on his bed more than a week now and there is no odor. His bed actually still smells fresh. It's incredible - this topper is one of those rare products that actually does what it says it will! I think that it must also be helping reduce the amount he sweats, keeps him at a more normal temperature or something, but the fact that it keeps his bed smelling fresh is fantastic.I was hesitant at first about paying more, but it was worth every penny. Toppers I've purchased before always seemed like I paid a lot of money for nothing - even if they were the cheap ones. I bought one last year for $100 and it was just a piece of foam that smelled like bug spray. The cover was flimsy and a total pain to put on - like a fitted sheet that was too small. It wasn't very comfortable either and we ended up throwing it out after just a couple months. So by comparison the Invigo Fresh topper is the best value for the money. It is just so nice to get good quality - especially these days when it seems like you spend a lot for nothing. Definitely one of the best purchases we've made.

I spent more for this topper because I thought I was getting a natural product, but the label says it is 36% latex and 64% polyurethane foam. It looks like an egg-crate foam pad with a cover on it. I'm not pleased.
