Yuzu Tea From Japan 415g 14.6oz

This is a very pleasant citrus flavored tea concentrate/jam. It can be used at either. It does have slivers of soft peel in it that settle to the bottom, or if you drink it cold, can be blended into a smooth drink. It's a delicate flavor quite like marmalade but with a touch of lemon. Not too sweet which is a refreshing surprise. Is also nice to add to other herbal tea mixes for an extra layer of flavor, like chamomile or ginger.

The label says "Yuzu tea," but it is like an orange marmalade as YUZU is an Asian citrus. It's OK to mix it into hot water and drink it as tea, but also it can be used it to spread onto your toast. It is a bit too sweet for me. I'd get regular orange marmalade from a regular store unless you really want a YUZU based product.

It might make decent Yuzu tea, but as marmalade the taste is sub-par. It's too sweet and lacks bright aroma and the hint of refreshing bitterness that is present in other brands and makes Yuzu distinct from other citrus preserves.

I went to Japan last fall and had yuzu tea in some of the restaurants. I loved it. I ordered this when I got home and it definitely lived up to my expectations. Tastes exactly like what I had at the restaurants in Japan. It has a light, refreshing citrus flavor and dissolves immediately in hot water.

Quality of this product is satisfied. Expensive but tasty. However, the expiration date is within one month of the arrival. I don't think i can use all before it's expired.

I lived in Japan for a long time and drank yuzu tea every winter. Since I've moved back to the states, it's been impossible to find, and I really missed it. This tea is delicious; it's exactly like the kind I used to buy.This will be a regular purchase for me, for sure.

I absolutely love this for tea. I add it to very hot water, just as you would for making other types of tea. If you add some ginger it's the absolute best thing ever!!

I have tried a couple different brands now and this is definitely my favorite. I already need to buy another jar, I can't stay out of it. Worth the wait.

I made ice blended Yuzu with Tomi Yuzu and it tasted really good with compliments from my guests when I served them.

色々なメーカーのゆず茶を飲んできましたが、こちらが味もコスパも１番のお気に入りです。マグカップにティースプーン３杯程を入れ、お湯で割って飲んでいます。毎日１～２杯飲んで１週間は持つかと思います。この値段を考えるとコスパは良いかと思います。味は甘味が強く、幼い子どもさんでも初めてゆず茶を飲む方も飲みやすいと思います。他のものは苦かったりゆずの香りが強すぎて苦手なものがあったので…。ゆず自体は少ないような気もしますが、しっかりとした香りがあるので問題ないかと。寒い時期やちょっと喉が痛いかな？という時に飲むと体がポカポカして温まるしなんとなく喉の痛みも緩和されているような気もしますので、冷蔵庫に無くてはならない存在になります。

韓国産の柚子茶も人気の様ですが、国産じゃないと少し不安だったのでこちらを注文しました。美味しいのは美味しいですが、何か想像と違いました。変に期待しすぎたのかもしれません。柚子の果肉だけ食べれば柚子の味と甘みが合わさりとても好みの味なのですがお湯で溶かした部分は甘いだけであまり強い柚子の味はしません。全体的に強い柚子感がほしかったので★-1です。

基本的には甘い味だと思います。ただ、柚子の皮が入っているので、ほんのりとした苦味もあり。個人的に柚子の皮も好きなので、スプーンですくって食べています。たっぷり入っていて良いのですが、瓶が深いので普通のスプーンだと下の方をすくうのは大変です。やはりベタベタしますので、長めのスプーンが必要ですね。瓶がもう少し浅く、でくっとした作りだったらとりやすかったかな？
