Outdoorsman Lab 3 Person Tent for Camping, Backpacking, Mountaineering -Lightweight, Easy Setup Water-Resistant Dome Family Camping Tent w/Great Storage Space

I haven't been camping since I was a Boy Scout, so I definitely needed a tent that would be easy to set up, without a lot of complicated instructions. This tent turned out to be awesome and met those requirements quite easily. There was a nasty wind storm here yesterday and I fully expected the tent to be blown away, but it endured the thrashing without any problems and remained in its pre-storm condition. Impressive! I received a follow up email from one of the owners (Ella) of OutdoorsmanLab, and was pleasantly surprised that she understands what excellent customer service is all about. Many thanks to Ella....she deserves special recognition.

My husband and I took this backpacking in Big Bend for 2 nights. One of the rods wouldn't fit into its slot, so my husband had to whittle it down to fit. Then the zipper broke off the bag way too easily when we went to put the tent back in.Update : Ella from the company immediately contacted me after my review and offered a refund or replacement. I really appreciated her reaching out to rectify the situation. Thank you.

I really like this tent. It is super easy to put up and I like that the rods are placed outside the tent instead of having to try to fish them through a pocket like most other tents. I erected it in about 2 minutes. The bottom is waterproof and I love all the netting up top. I had to do work during my camping trip so I unzipped it and was able to sit there and work and look out at the river. The seller contacted me twice already to make sure that I was happy and if I had any questions on how to set up the tent. This is a great product and a great price.

I work with a boy scout high adventure program . I was looking for a lightweight tent( for myself )that was easy to set up quick . Another key factor is price . Bad things can happen to gear in the backcountry and If you spend the trip worrying about your over priced stuff, you spend less time enjoying the trip. The Outdoorsman3 person tent seems to be a good fit reasonably durable ,easy set up, and affordable. I did get a very small amount of water on one occasion, but in fairness it was a severe storm and all our other( brand) tents had similar issues .

I ordered this tent for a weekend camp out and it arrived on time and packaging was adequate.Setup was done by myself and was fairly easy. Two of the main poles had tips that were off and loose and had to be placed on in order to complete setup.The tent seemed slightly smaller than 7 x 7 but I didn't actually measure it. (I think three grown people would have trouble comfortably sleeping in this tent.)After it was setup I was attempting to pull the zipper closed and it got caught and then ripped the material. (see photo).Overall, the pole ends could have been overlooked and the tent functioned, but the zipper ripping the material and having to block the hole in the tent for the weekend to avoid critters made me not give this tent a higher rating.

"This is a very nice tent. bought two different ones on Amazon to try them out. One was simple and only $28. this is $45 and it is worth it. I am sending the other one back. Lots of mesh windows, tent folds up very small. Light enough, and room enough for three or two and a couple of dogs!!"Don't waste your time on the cheapest tent. This one is the best for the money. Waterproof, only two poles. No "Sleeves" to force poles through, which require help or are a pain. This tent has two poles that fold up small and it sits up tall. Perfect, roomy backpacking tent!

Great tent for my weekend car camping trip. Easy to assemble. Not tested in rain yet.

The tent cost very little so I wasn't expecting too much, and that's what I got. A tent that is very simple to put up and quick. The fabric is very flimsy n thin, I don't expect it to be around too long, but that's OK. It is working now. it is big enough for 2people only.
