An engaging thriller with a smart, capable & tough ex-military cop who is not quite sure what her next step in life should be now she is out of the military. Cache is called on to help the police track escaped fugitives into the local mountains during a storm. But who is tracking whom? And what is with the extra bodies? Cache will need to call on all her survival skills from both growing up in the mountains and the military to figure out what is going on and make it off the mountain in one piece.

Liked the pace of the story and how the end result revealed. Can’t wait to read the rest of the series.
