If you don't have one get one
This thing is a life saver! Instead of your backseat looking like a vacuum cleaner exploded after vacuuming pet hair from your entire house this thing is awesome!! It's waterproof to save your seats from unwanted messes and hair and the price can't be beat. Just take it out spray it with a hose let it dry and done, ready for the next use. Very durable, Highly recommend

HIGHLY RECOMMEND / VERY EASY TO INSTALL AND CLEAN
We just bought a new Eclipse Cross (which is a bigger sized crossover SUV) with black interior, and we needed something to protect from white dog hair. After reading many product reviews with seat covers / hammocks at this price point I am glad I went with this brand.Almost every product has great reviews, but a lot of people complained that it smelled very potent of vinyl and chemicals, with the other brands.Well we like that new car smell so I didn't want something that would immediately ruin the scent.Again, after researching a lot of reviews this brand didn't have any complaints about the smell. And they were right! The product is new and does smell of vinyl but it is very faint, and after airing it out for 2 days the vinyl smell is gone.Next I wanted to obviously test it with my doggo. The product didn't come with instructions, but they do that for a reason. ITS COMMON SENSE TO INSTALL. Idk why people are complaining about that. it's a tarp with 4 clips, you don't need instructions....Look at the picture so you have the zippers on the right side, throw it in your vehicle, and install it. There are four clips, one for each headrest. 2 attach around the front seats headrests, and 2 attach around the back seat headrests. Essentially creating a nice hammock for the pooch, while almost fully protecting the whole backseat area of the car!EXTREMELY EASYI tested it with my dog by taking him to the park. It rained the day before and I purposely left his paws muddy. When I got home, I noticed the hammock seat cover was full of his hair and mud. I unclipped the 4 headrest clips and easily removed the hammock for cleaning.I looked at my seat and I did not notice or feel water or mud seep through. The product kept the mess on it and not my seats. Worked perfectly!I laid the hammock flat the ground, wiped it with a towel and the mud easily came off. The hair looked like it was stuck really bad to the hammock (which is good, it's not flying around the car) and I thought it was going to be hard to vacuum but it came right off a shop vac! Looks good as new.If you have a SUV or truck the product will lay flat, so if I fold the seats down, I lay it flat and the dog can walk around and lay down back there. The hammock also looks great. The black color looks really good in the black interior vehicle. With all that said, Im really happy with the seat cover/hammock! The only thing I'm iffy about is the waterproofing, and I'm going to test it by spilling a cola and seeing if it seeps through. Overall it's a 5 star product and I'm glad it didn't smell like the other brands do.I highly recommend this product for and animal lover who travels with them, or even just to add extra protection to your cars seats!Thank you,Joseph PIf you find my review(s) helpful in regards to making a decision with your purchase, please do me a solid and click that "helpful" button.

Best investment ever!!!!
If I could give this item more than 5 stars I would! My biggest worry with having my dogs in the car is getting in an accident or having to make a sudden stop that they would go over the edge of the seat and get hurt. They wear car harnesses that a seat belt goes through to keep them in place. They can sit, lay, and even more around a little bit. We were all on our way home from the spa day (groomer's appointment) when a vehicle pulled out in front of me cutting me off. I had to come to a complete stop very quickly. Trooper and Leia were sleeping in the backseat and I could hear their bodies sliding front than back again. Thanks to the seat cover being connected to the back of my front seats the dogs didn't fall off the seat they just slid front and back to where they started at. The whole experience woke them up but they never seemed to mind which means to me that their harnesses and the seat cover worked amazingly to keep them safe and happy. In my old vehicle I used to use towels to keep the dog hair off the seats which was a joke. when I upgraded vehicles I needed something that was tough and waterproof. After doing lots of research to see which would fit my truck perfectly I came across this one that had a few extra inches on both sides so I could have the whole seat covered. Mine is used on a 2014 Ram Quad Cab Express. It was super easy to install. I had a few issues working on the adjustment on the back of the rear seat due to how close my seats are to the window but I made it happen. I keep my attached to the seat it sits on and the back of my front seats. It doesn't hinder the adjusting of the front seats at all. My dogs have tracked dirt, grass, and deposited tons of hair onto the cover for me. It is easy to wipe clean with a wet rag or car wipe. I can easily shop-vac the the hair off the cover. If you drive with the windows open you car will still be full of dog hair but I love my dogs and like my truck clean so I just shop-vac it all out. If you have passengers that have legs you can easily disconnect it from the front seats and let it fall to the floor so they can sit on it. I use seat belt harnesses for my dogs and the velcro access holes are great. They hold the buckle where I need it without letting hair through. The only issue I came across which doesn't really matter because my dogs aren't tall enough. When I have the windows open which I always do dogs or no dogs. The back corners that are on the seat it cover flap in the wind and fold over. You can see it in the one picture. I wish there was a way to secure that a little better. I may sew some weights on the side flaps that hang over the edge of the seat so that those stay down nicer. When the dogs move around they shift a little.I have also found this to come in handy when out shopping. I have hidden storage on the floor under the hammock that no one can see. If I need to run into a place real quick and don't want or need to take my bag (purse) with me I can stow it under there. It also is a life saver when grocery shopping. I pile all the bags on the backseat they never fall onto the floor or really even fall over at all.Overall this product is awesome. I would recommend it to anyone who owns a vehicle and dogs and anyone who owns a pickup truck.

Not easy to unclip from the headrests
We wanted to be able to unbuckle from the back headrest and fold the protector forward to hang from the front when carrying non-canine passengers, but it's too difficult to unhook, as the straps would need to be a lot longer.

Would not recommend!
The straps to secure it head ready broke off. Had for less then a month and went to remove it and as soon I touched the buckle the strap broke. Was only used a handful of times as it is in our second car.
