Each character was fully drawn and believable. Each book pulled you in and you wanted to know how it ended

I first read this series when I was 10, or some age similar to that or thereabouts, and I have been waiting eagerly for the conclusion for a few years. I am not disappointed and this was even better than I had been expecting. I completed this in a few hours in one sitting, and there isn't a thing I would change. Personally, I love romance, but I really enjoyed how this book wasn't solely focused on the relationship between Ivy and Martin, and I think it made it better. I loved how Ivy grew as a character and Martin changed. I don't think there is anything else I can say because for me it was perfect. I would recommend this series to anyone who fancies a new outlook on fantasy, both young adults and children alike.

I had been waiting for this book since reading its predecessor years ago. I followed R J Anderson on Amazon in the hopes of being informed when it was published and was really excited to get the email telling me it had been.I loved the book, as I had all.the others and would recommend all of them to anyone with a love of fantasy and a good story.I do hope the book will also be available in paperback too.

I love The way the book mixes mythology with Christianity.I also love how the author is so creative.Another thing I love is the book includes grown-up and children characters.I would have to recommend this book to 10+ readers.I don’t think I could’ve enjoyed it so much if I was younger than I am now.I rate this book 5 stars because it is one of the best books I’ve ever read.

I read this on the day it was released and couldn't put it down! Having only discovered this series of books during lockdown I haven't had the 7 years of waiting for Ivy and Martin's story to have the resolution it so deserved - but I still couldn't wait to get my hands on it! And it didn't disappoint! The characters (I absolutely love Martin!), the development of relationships and the exploration of themes such as weakness, fear, pain, loss and the power of forgiveness and love makes this a compelling completion to a fantastic story.
