These are great. The shapers stretch out horizontally, rather than circularly, so my suggestion would be to rotate them every now and then to prevent the boots from stretching in any one direction. The plastic material seems sturdy, but the mechanism used to pull the shaper in and out does feel as though it might give in over time if you keep pulling it in and out of your favorite pair of boots.

It's flimsy plastic but does the job?Based on the picture, I bought it thinking I could use it to break in the calves of my new boots. It's far too flimsy for that purpose.

Of the 3 boot trees I have purchased, this one is my favorite. I use them in my knee high wide calf boots and they work really well. More instructions could be included on how to adjust them but they are simple to adjust and easy to use. They fit the calf beautifully and I have no issues with them falling over, my boots keep their shape well. Quick delivery and a happy purchase.

Functional. Doesn't the job. Only 4 stars b/c they're very lightweight and don't seem like they'll actually last too long.... but so far, so good.
