Well Made, a Must for Professional Results
Well made, easy to work with. The siamese power section strips easily away from the coax, and both are easy to strip for connection. The coax is full-size CAC-6 which will deliver an excellent picture for hundreds of feet, and the power cable likewise is hefty enough to deliver 12 volts for long distances with capacity to power a camera plus some auxiliary LED lighting better nighttime.performance.I am using this cable to replace failures with the pre-made cables which came with the system(s) and also the similar longer ones purchased to augment them. The pre-made cables are inexpensive but extremely flimsy, and quality control on them is horrible; I have had several bad out-of-the-box and others fail on or soon after installation, requiring much re-work. While fabricating your own using this cable and separate connectors is a more expensive and time-consuming than using the pre-made cables, the advantages make it worthwhile.

Works
Signal quality seems fine. The plastic sheath seems a bit cheap especially on the power side. You have to be careful when separating the 2 or the power wires tear the sheath. Either my cutter is getting old or something is off on the coax side because I don't get a perfect cut for my BNC connectors and I always h

Worked great, you need these tools...
This cable worked perfectly for my CCTV cameras. I purchased this as a first time coax runner and had no problems. I needed to research and learn which tools I needed to complete the run, so hopefully I can help you.1. You need, first and foremost BNC female connectors (for each end, no male). These connectors come in two pieces typically. The smaller sleeve that is crimped and the BNC that attaches to the Conductive jacket and single wire. There are two ways to do the BNC connector typically. Compression and Crimping. I still don't know which is best, but they both seem to work. I used this set, but did notice it was not always tight at the crimp, but you had to pull hard for the cable to come out, I am still satisfied: RioRand Professional RG59/BNC Male Crimp-On Connector, 2 piece set (100pcs)2. For each method you need the respective tool, I used a crimper I already had.3. Next you'll likely need a coax wire stripper. This one you could probably get away with using your standard wire stripper, but may take you longer. I bought a coax stripper from a hardware store and was not happy with the result, so I ended up using my CAT5 stripper to remove the outer jacket and a standard electrical cable stripper to remove the core from the wire.4. Finally you need to really think about how you're going to connect the power. The cameras and CCTV DVR have their own male and female power adapters, so you'll want a male and female end on opposite ends of this cable. Some systems let you connect a wire directly to a power supply, removing the need for an adapter, but not all of them. Typically you can tightly fit two of these wires into the adapters needed. I used these, but I wish I would have just bought 20 of each male and female for future use. Triangle Bulbs (Pack Of 10) 5 Male Jack DC Power Adapter & 5 Female Jack DC Power Adapter ConnectorThese should give you everything you need. Inserting the power is extremely simple, just plug the red to positive, black to negative and tighten. Crimping takes some practice, find some youtube videos and make your decision on the method needed.

DId 8 4k cameras with twist on bnc, no lines, no shadowing etc in end. I do wrap my fittings in electrical tape once they are on, and put a wire cover on the lines to protect against uv, rain exposure etc. My longest run is only 100 ft, but if you research, premade cables have issues starting as low as 50 foot, where as these make your own cords have went as far as 250 ft without issues. Do wish I used rg6 for my cable on security camera, but dvr company told me rg59 before I knew what i was getting into. Do your research before buying, but for rg59 and power, this cable did the job fine

Good Purchase
At first I was not pleased because this comes on a wood reel and not in a box (like the picture implies). I wasn't sure how to easily dispense it, but then I figured out I would use a scrap 1/2" PVC pipe on my ladder to put the reel on...It worked great and I noticed that the cable is marked so you know how much you have left! I definitely prefer this now over the self reeling boxes.
