Good, EXCEPT FOR THE USB PORTS! The voltage converter is pretty small and lightweight. It's worked well so far after about 2 months of occasional use in Thailand. I've used it about 10 times for short periods with a small shaver. The shaver is only 7 watts, and the unit does not seem to heat up at all with this current. There's a small fan in the unit that runs all the time when it's turned on, as other units seem to have as well.My main complaint is the USB ports. They are extremely tight to insert a USB cord into. You really need to use a lot of force. Then once something is plugged into the port, it's so tight it's very difficult to remove. So much so that it broke one USB cable I plugged into it. The metal casing from my USB cable is still plugged into it. I need to use pliers to pull it out. I'll post a picture of it.It seems the problem is the casing around the USB ports is solid bent metal that doesn't have any flex and virtually no clearance when a cable is inserted. It needs to be redesigned.I didn't specifically buy it for the USB charging, but it's a nice bonus. However, for me the USB ports are pretty much useless since they can break my cables.The BESTEK brand one seems to more reviews and may not have this issue.

This was a lifesaver! I recently went on a month long study abroad trip to Italy and this converter was exactly what I needed. The hotel I stayed at only had one outlet in our room, so the multiple charging options were super useful to my roommate and I. The biggest complaint we had was the USB ports were very difficult to use. The ports were very tight and plugging in cords was a struggle. Once plugged in, we were afraid that the cords were stuck in the ports because we had to put way too much force into unplugging them. The green USB port was easiest to use. If you are buying this and plan on charging more than one thing through the USB slots, I'd say maybe look somewhere else. Otherwise this was a great buy.

Worked as it should, but slow to power on and very noisy as posted by others.

Only worked one day. Day 2 of my trip, it blew up my mini hairdryer, self destructed & tripped a fuse in our hotel in Dublin. It smelled terrible.Also, the USB plugs were so tight, I was afraid to jam them in & damage mine.I purchased it a month before my trip, so I'm out almost a converter & a travel dryer!!!UNHAPPY

Just got back from a trip to Ireland. Loved this converter. Charged several items at one time with absolutely no problems. Charging was quick and I did not notice any noise at all as is mentioned in a couple of other reviews. I will be gifting another one to a friend I loved it so much.

This thing is so loud I can't even have it in the same room. Even with a door closed I can still hear it. It does power my devices, but the usb ports are too tight to get a plug into, and if you do it requires pliers to get it out. Save yourself the aggravation, get a different one.

Perfect for deployment. Hasn't failed me yet.

I'm always running out of power in the most inopportune times, so this was the most Perfect gift I received from my husband! Charges quickly, works great!
