A great value short length of exhaust wrap, intended for motorcycle use, that has been used on a diesel heater exhaust. The exhaust noise from the heater is intrusive despite having a silencer and most of the sound was coming through the thin exhaust pipe sidewall. Wrapping the Foneso Car Exhaust Wrap around the heater exhaust pipe has significantly reduced the noise. The temperature of the exhaust is kept within the wrap so it is actually possible to touch the wrapped hot exhaust and not burn yourself at all, which is a welcome bonus - although generally the main reason for using exhaust wrap in the first place.The wrap is easy to apply and forms well to the exhaust contours. It does litter the area with irritating glass fibre particles, looking almost like glitter, so you MUST wear long gloves and probably eye protection. It isn't toxic but can be very itchy. There are plenty of stainless steel wrap clamps included as well as concise easy to follow instructions.After a somewhat smokey and smelly initial first use the wrap has cured to the exhaust perfectly and does a great job of reducing the noise.

Only recommendation is wear some gloves - fiberglass is horribly itchy

Discoloured almost instantly which was fine to start with but looks like I’ll lose all the colour before summer starts. Buy longer clips that the one they come with, you’ll thank me for that. There needs to be more than 6 and certainly longer than 200mm

Ist in OrdnungKlar das Material verliert ihre farbe nach einer zeit aber sonst keine ProblemeIch kann aber nur empfehlen die Metall kabelbinder die beiliegenden durch Draht zu ersetzenDen Draht kann man viel änger anbringenBei den kabelbindern ist immer etwas spiel und man bekommt sie nie richtig fest

Ho installato facilmente le bende termiche aiutandomi prima con delle fascette di plastica e poi con quelle in dotazione. Vi aggiorno appena avrò installato tutto il collettore di scarico in auto.

Wichtig ist das ihr eure Hände schützt, ich weiß nicht was auf diesem Band drauf ist aber es juckt tierisch auf der Haut. Das Band erfüllt seinen Zweck und macht optisch richtig was her.

Das Vorhaben war, meinen Motorradauspuff thermisch zu isolieren. Das hat hervorragend geklappt.Gut zu verarbeiten und die mitgelieferten Spannbänder lassen sich gut festziehen und halten bis jetzt problemlos.Alles in allem jederzeit zu empfehlen.
