They crimp just fine. I would see a better (thicker) material, but for my needs they worked perfectly. If you think that one piece costs about 5 cents, then they earn 5 stars.I used them with 18 AWG wire. I tried one to fit 12 AWG and the insulation was a bit too thick, yet still fit good enough.

Like another reviewer I work on Air Cooled Volkswagen's I needed to make a new alternator harness for my 74 bus as I had the plastic end caps and just needed terminals. These worked perfectly! I managed to completely construct a new harness for around $20 when a new one from other suppliers is almost $100. Since this was a 100 pack I have a lot of extras left for any other connections I need to remake. Why there are not the same quality as the original German made ones these will get the job done.Update: When I originally purchased these I did not have the correct crimping tool to install them. I have since acquired the correct tool from Amazon and it makes a much better reliable connection. Make sure you have the correct tool.

Not as robust as others, but still plenty strong to get the job done. Have made several custom wire harnesses without any connection issues. Would recommend

These are excellent quality crimp connectors. They mate good & tight with matching connectors and crimp very well when using a double-crimp wire crimper. They look exactly like factory connectors with the insulation crimped inside the large legs. Once attached to the wire, these look exactly like the factory wires that come OEM with aftermarket speakers, Also, just to make sure, I checked these and they are NOT magnetic so I full well believe them to be 100% brass or copper! BUY WITH CONFIDENCE!

These take a bit of getting used to...I broke a few early on trying to get the crimps tight. The terminals would get stuck in the crimper, and even slight bending trying to wiggle them out would result in breakage. These TYPES of crimps are much better than the ones in the insulated versions because these dig into the wire jacket. If the metal was 50% thicker, I would give 5 stars, but these really are too thin. They're servicable, but barely. Unfortunately, I couldn't find many alternatives. These also require a different crimper, you can't use crimpers for insulated terminals with these.

These worked well and crimped properly on the first try.

I used these to replace the old corroded and broken connectors in various polgs on my old vintage car. They are excellent and easy to insert.

After trying those multi-packs with multiple sizes of male and female terminals, just to be disappointed by how flimsy they are and rarely hold in place without having to squeeze them with pliers, I found this brand, actual solid terminals that hold in place, they easily weight twice as much as the cheap ones I have.
