This 45 degree angle fitting make sewer hose hook up easy in our class C RV. Great product. A must have if your sewer hook up is in the storage bay.

Twenty years ago when I was pretty new at all of this, an older gentleman (probably my age now) struck up a conversation with me at the dump station island (which will always feel strange to me) and told my wife and I that the smartest accessory we could buy for dumping was a clear fitting. His argument was that the clear fitting literally provides a window into the "stuff' that's coming out, and that you basically want to empty and flush until the water flows out clear. Fair enough. Probably don't need to elaborate on that.I've probably owned four or five clear fittings over the years and I'll never be without one now. The straight ones are OK, but these 45° angled fittings are much better. There's less leverage and stress against the fitting and the hose falls down naturally towards the ground and lasts longer because the end won't want to crack so quickly.The final piece of the puzzle though was to get this Camco Rhino version. I switched to the Rhino hoses probably fifteen years ago and I'll never use another brand (at least not on purpose). This fitting couples with my favorite hose just perfectly.

Nothing we all want to see coming out of these tanks, but you need to know when the "flow" has stopped and your tanks are empty. This allows that. Great company with quality rv parts and this part is no different.

I did a lot of research on how the waste dumping works because that was my worst fear was how burdensome and gross the process would be. I learned best practice is to have this piece so you can see when the black tank flushing runs clear before you stop. So convenient and practical, but had I not done so much research then I wouldn’t have known and instead just used the standard solid one that came in my starter kit. I highly recommend this item and Camco products. I have the Camco RhinoFlex hose kit and just used it for the first time all by myself.Not that this is a negative on the product because it’s more rookie user error, but be very careful to check that all of the hooks are securely attached so the seal is completely on. I failed to notice one hook was not completely on so imagine my surprise when liquid came gushing out. Luckily, there was only liquid waste and I acted quickly to close the drain and didn’t end up with too much of a mess.

Swiveling 45 degree elbow helps take strain off the RV fitting and direct the hose. Being able to see the flow and the gate valves through the plastic is useful, but turns my wife's stomach so this has become MY job! 9 months on the road, constant use, and no leaks, cracks, etc. Seems solid, durable, and clear plastic hasn't crazed or discolored

This was the best price that I found for this attachment. Works great, sturdy and very well made.

I thought the product was fixed, however it swivels and makes it very easy to use.

Great product quite solid I’m glad that it’s not clear just enough that you can still see water movement you really don’t need to see what’s coming out of there do you? I don’t!!!

Does what i needed and makes pump out easier being able to see what is getting stuck or not

Good connector as it swivels to what angle you need .. and clear so you can check the water flush is clear . And good seal .
