Praxis II English to Speakers of Other Languages Study Guide: Test Prep and Practice Test Questions for the ESOL (5361) Exam

I have read too many Praxis II study guides!I do not enjoy them. But some are worse than others. Some are riddled with typos, have no organization, and poor grammar. They make it very hard to master the material.This book was a step above those cheap guides. It was clear, it was readable, it had review questions after each small section (great idea!).It helped me enormously and I did very well on my test.Now I only want books from this series if I take more Praxis tests (much as I may dread doing so)

This book undoubtedly helped me pass the Praxis, but there was an entire section on the Praxis that was not covered at all in this book! Be prepared to do some extra research.

This book offers a good review and/or introduction to TESOL. The main thing I'd say is missing is audio. The Praxis includes a section that requires analyzing speech, and practice helps a great deal.

This book did help me to study for the Praxis II test. It had great review information and sample test questions. I am only giving it 3 stars because it doesn't cover one entire part of the test, at all.

I found this book to be immensely helpful in reviewing for the ESOL Praxis. It includes comprehensive summaries of key topics, followed by challenging practice questions. I would highly recommend this review to anyone studying for the Praxis.

Helped me pass the test!

Good review book, but no listening component.

I passed my PRAXIS 10 points higher than my state's required score. It was high enough to even go to another state and apply for a ESL job.
