This is a wonderful quilt. Really well made, and thicker than average. Definitely run it through a good 1st wash as machine made quilts often have some tiny bits of excess fabric/threads, etc, that won't pop up til you run it thru the washer. Its gorgeous, and worth the price.

Excellent quality, size is great! It is larger than most bed sets so it actually hangs to the skirt on a bed with extra gel foam mattress added to it. There was the slight “old” scent to it upon opening but one wash with a little white vinegar in the softener cycle took care of that: no fading or damage at all when washing. Colors are exactly as shown in photos. Best quilt set I’ve ever purchased:

I ordered the sunset red quilt for a queen bed. When it arrived, it did smell pretty musty, as other reviewers have stated. I washed the quilt on the gentle cycle and dried it on low and it held up fine. It’s a very nice lightweight quilt and looks great. It fits my queen bed perfectly. So far I am very happy with my purchase.

Read a lot of the reviews, good and bad and decided to give it a try. I really liked the color combination shown and it may be a bit darker but that part is ok. Like many said, the smell was really strong but I have bought clothing that had some sort of sizing on it that had the same smell. I think the size of this is what makes the smell overwhelming. I washed it in cold water with a heavy load amount of detergent and gave it a double rinse. Could still smell the odor a bit so put it in the dryer on low with many drier sheets and tumbled in on delicate for about an hour, taking it out every 15 minutes to rearrange it. After an hour it was still damp but the smell had lessened a lot. Took it to the basement and hung it over a clothes line and left it for two days to finish drying. There is still a very, very faint smell but it will be ok. Like many others had also said, it pilled a bunch while in the washer and my first thought was this is going to get returned but after all of the tumble drying, many of the pills came off. Still had quite a few on it when fully dried. Put it on the bed and used a lint roller on it and most of them came off. Took a bit but most of them are gone. The loose threads were also everywhere, sticking out of every seam. It took awhile but I clipped them all off, made up the rest of the bed and I now like it very much. I ordered the king size for my queen bed because I didn't want to use a bed ruffle. It is a bit larger than I thought and it just skims the floor on either side of the bed, which I like. It is much heavier than the last quilt I ordered but then again it is a different brand. May alter this review for heaviness and warmth after a bit. There were no cuts or slices in the material at all that some had complained about.We have now slept under it for a few nights and we really like this. I thought it would be too warm or too heavy but it is good. The one thing I like about the weight of this is that it stays put on the bed. Really hard to steal the covers. I would definitely recommend this.UPDATE: It has now been well over a month since I washed this up and put it on the bed. The slight smell after washing has been gone for a long time and I love this quilt. Nice and warm but not too heavy. Would definitely buy another of these.

This quilt is an everyday quilt for my bed! Thin enough to keep you cool but thick enough to keep the chill away. Not real a winter quilt unless you use with blanket underneath for added warmth! Love it and it is beautiful!

I was nervous! I have hand eczema and I often shop by feel. Anything to scratchy I just won't buy bo matter how cute/fab it looks. I personally like more moody navy and dark green colors so the color scheme I got is fantastic. Also the last one at the time ;) It is incredibly light weight and my hot sleeper of a husband will be thankful. The fabric is soft. Not like uber soft but what you expect from a quilt. I appreciate that it is reversible, however I wish that translated to the shams. If the inside is dark green so should the shams. That's my only complaint. I am super comfortable and I have a fan blowing at me and I can't feel the fan on my feet. So the fabric is thick enough for breathable sleep without getting to cold. I have 2 Bee and willow sets, and this puts those to shame. As far as durability that might be a couple of months from now review but it feels sturdy. Nothing feels like it's going to rip or fall apart. I think the value for the money is completely worth it.

Great cotton quilt. I always buy cotton (not polyester) it’s a big difference in quality and feel. I got the king for under $60 as a “used like new” product. It came completely factory vacuum sealed in “like new” condition not used at all so I scored a deal on it.

Bought this set Dec 2019 for a cabin rental, it has been washes once or twice weekly for the past 3 years and it still looks good and never fell apart. S o pleased that I bought a second set.

Ordered this quilt for two main reasons... first I was looking for a quilt vs a comforter and wanted something to resemble the old patchwork with an outdoorsy feel but not necessarily on red buffalo plaid or having animals all over it, so this fit the bill perfectly.Secondly... I am a Woolrich brand lover. I have many shirts, blankets, slippers, etc from Woolrich and they have never disappointed me. And again I am very pleased with my purchase.I love this quilt. The colors are amazing, earthy and goes with anything. The quality of the quilt is amazing, great stitching and with a heavy feel to it. The size for the queen bed is large enough to have great drape and plenty to snuggle in. I would recommend this product 110% to any one that is looking for a quality "quilt" bed topper.
