Snuggie Tails Comfy Cozy Super Soft Warm Rainbow Fish Blanket for Kids, As Seen on TV

My daughter loves this thing and has worn it non-stop since Christmas, to sleep in and to use when reading or playing her tablet. My only issue with it is the seams at the bottom on the tail are coming undone and it's difficult to repair with the satin material. I am likely going to have to turn it inside out and just use my sewing machine around the whole bottom seam. At a tall 9 yrs old she will probably only be able to use it for a year before it's too short. It fits her about the same as the one in the picture here, the top comes just past her armpits. Probably better for younger kids if you want it to last longer.

It isn't very long. My daughter is 5 and smaller than the girl pictured. So, keep in mind if they truly want to 'snuggle in' the material only comes up to their chest, maybe shoulders. So, if yours wants to be buried in it and have it cover her head, it will only take a day to rip. It's meant for watching shows or sleeping, not walking around the house acting like a scary fish, so keep that quality in mind.

Cute friendly eyes - picture here doesn't really do it justice. And it's super, super soft. My son is actually in love with his "rainbow color fish." Haven't been able to wash it yet because he's been wearing it for the last 2 days so not sure how that will go, but overall, was really happy with the quality. I've seen a couple friends who have bought less expensive versions at off-price stores and theirs are nowhere near as soft this one is. Makes a huge difference if you have a child sensitive to textures!

Thin, cheap, flimsy. I can go on and on but you get the idea. There are good polyesters and then there are not-so-good polyesters. The material here belongs to the latter. I think my 9 year old niece wasn't too thrilled and and found "other uses" for this blanket such as using it for sack races which quickly wore holes through the fins. I think if this were of better "true blanket" quality she would not have resorted to racing in it. Just think Halloween costume material and you'll know exactly what to expect.

I read many reviews and almost didn't order. Many reviews said the quality was not great, and then I noticed the review dates and the later reviews (2017) were good (maybe they changed manufacturers). The quality of mine was great. I am so glad I ordered it! My granddaughter loves it and the first thing she did was walk around in it and pull it over her head, and of course I was checking the seams and it is holding up well so far.

I'm not sure about how great it feel or the durability, but my Grandson was super happy to get it. He snuggles with the blanket while watching T.V. He is 6 for some idea about the age group. I think any 2-7 year old would like it. They might be a little too big to fit in it after that. The blanket itself is super cute and colorful.

If your kid is like mine, the first thing they'll do it push their eager little feet all the way to the ends of the tail. The seams started coming apart after about 3 hours of nonagressive use. So now she eats it like a regular blanket, but won't get in it. I would still have bought it, but for half the price. Discount stores, tjmaxx, ross willl have them at a fairer price point.

It fits my daughter perfect. It’s so soft & she loves to nap in it.
