GG&G Harris BIPOD Adapter

(Installed on a dpms with a magpul prs stock) GG&G for the win again. Used this swivel stud adapter so I could mount my accushot monopod that my brother got me for father's day...I knew I needed a pic rail adapter monopod but he ordered the wrong one, and I didn't want to be a dick so I just searched for picatinny rail to sling stud and ggg came up 3rd, however I have some products from them since 2008, such as eotech lens covers and other things. This was a total win, the others can't come close to this, the bevel makes the accushot fit perfectly, no roll no gap, no nothing...all good, sturdy and rigged...priced very well and weight is not an issue with this adapter.

Well after reading all the other reviews and always doing my homework before making a purchase I decided to go with this harris adapter for my AR M4, I bought the bipod for my 308 browning X-BOLT STALKER with the sling mount set up. After talking with my buddy he told me I should get the adapter for my AR, and I must say that this product from GG&G is the way to go! really well made and like the other reviews stated , there is no wiggle or slop with this adapter, it mounts up perfect and doesn't look like it doesn't belong on my 3k investment set up on my AR. It does add a bit of weight to the front of the weapon and I don't always get on the bipod on my AR however it is really nice to be able to go back and forth on the fly from one gun to another. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a harris adapter over the cheap alternatives out there, a few buck more but well worth it!

Good solid adapter for your bipod

I tried several adapters before settling on this one. The other options all had significant defects like not being able to tighten down to the rail enough to not rattle, badly machined screws & studs that didn't quite fit any standard allen wrench sizes or Harris bipods, respectively. This one has no apparent manufacturing defects, the metal and finish is of a very high-quality, and the instructions were very clear about the appropriate torque for attaching it, and it does the job. My only complaints are the length and price. Some adapters match the length of my bipod's base exactly (which I *think* is consistent across all Harris models) and it makes for a much more polished / finished look. This one is a centimeter or 2 shorter. Not a big deal, though. I would think you can machine a part like this for less than the price of this one (when compared to the relative price and complexity of the bipod itself) - although my experience with other adapters has me questioning that.I would give it 4.5 / 5 stars if that was an option. Despite my complaints, the fact is I shopped around a lot and this is the best adapter I found. It's what I'll be using on my rifle.

I found this for $19.95 shipped and couldn't pass it up. I wasn't expecting it until next week, but it showed up the other day in the mail box after 3days ordering!!! Very FAST shipping! Back to the product... This was for my 15-22 mated to a Harris bipod. It's a perfect compliment w/ one another! Very fine craftsmanship! The allen wrench was a 9/64 (not included in package), but who doesn't own an allen set???! You won't be disappointed!!!p.s. This is mated to a Harris bipod. Don't buy the harris "style" or "type". Buy the real deal! Spend the extra few dollars and get a known proven high quality bipod! I'm so sick of these knock off companies w/ these bs reviews! They waste your time and money when you have to send the trash back!!! Buy right, buy once!!!Happy plinking!!!

Fits a Harris Bipod perfectly. I use this in conjunction with the S Lock handle on one of my guns. The other gun has the bipod screwed directly into a free floating hand guard. The bipod attached to the rail with this adapter is equally rock solid as the other rifle. Very happy with the fit, quality, and how securely the bipod attaches. No complaints whatsoever.

The mount seemed to be very of good quality and locked my Harris up tight. When I mounted it I didn't have any intention of leaving it on. Just wanted the option to use my bipod depending on the type of shooting I would be doing. I did not use any locktite and did not power down on the mounting screw. Then I tried to get it off! Negative Ghost Rider. I ended up rounding the hex head out and ultimately deciding that the only way to get it off was to cut the head of the screw off with my dremel. This required me to cut straight through the mount. Now, I am not a fool when it comes to tools and I did everything I could not to strip that screw but it just wasn't budging at all and it was not cross threaded. Needless to say, the mount is in the trash and I've decided to bite the bullet and go with a Larue QD. Mount = 5 stars / Hardware = 0 stars.

I had two Harris bipods and another brand I initially bought for my AR-10. The Harris products were far superior, so I bought this adapter which is PERFECT for mounting a Harris bipod to my AR-10 which has a bottom Picatinny rail. The adapter is well-made, very stable, solid and easy to mount.
