The Becoming: The Dragon Heart Legacy, Book 2

Read book 1 .. The Awakening .. then this book is the next in the series. This is the best, most exciting Sheryl have read in ages! I find myself fully engaged in the writing and absolutely invested in the characters! Phenomenal storytelling!

Great characters, moving plot. Different Nora Roberts book but definitely a good read. Book 2 as good as book 1. Looking forward to book 3.

We're back in Talamh!!! This book gives us a chance to really get a lay of the land and dive more into the fantasy world. I enjoyed getting to see Marco and Breen really start to build a life in Talamh, and step into their new normal. The magic and fantastical creatures were fun and exciting. A lot of it reminds me of the magic that I used to see in 90s/2000s shows, films, and books. The spells are cast in a more ritualistic way with structured poetry and ceremonial objects. And as with all Roberts' books (fantasy or not) the theme of finding some good - some light - amid the darkness is played heavily against the conflict. I was able to get through this by pairing my hardback with the audiobook. It was a life savor on those Irish words. I felt like I was able to grasp the sound and feel of the story better. I'm excited to see how the trilogy will end and what happens once they get rid of Odran once and for all. Sweet and easy fantasy read. Lots of heart and a dash of spice.

Written with the wonderful magical skill of Nora Robert’s. 2nd book of the trilogy. Looking forward to the conclusion! But will hate to see this trilogy come to an end !

This book is awesome. Has enough ups,downs fast and slow downs mixed in it. Making it hard to put it away. Leaving you wanting to know what happens next.

Another excellent book and an exceptional series from Nora Roberts. You can read the book on it's on, but I highly recommend reading the whole series (one of my favourites from her). The characters are fantastic and I cried several times reading this series; a sign of an incredible writer.

This woman is the best writer of fiction mixed with romance, and magic. She has an unique way of describing the worlds of her creation, that we have no doubts we are part of everything. I’m a huge fan. Buy them read them she is deserving of all praises.Merilza Rodrigues a Brazilian fan.

I was always a fan of this author and once again she didn’t fail my expectations. Extremely well written, well constructed, fast paced and full of heart, that’s Nora for you, a wonderful read, I highly recommend it

What an addictive read!This is the second novel in the Dragon Heart series and sees Breen and Marco back in Ireland and therefore Talamh. As we left off with Breen leaving her apartment via portal with Keegan and Marco jumped in at the last moment all three lane in Talamh after a somewhat bumpy ride.Marco then begins to learn of the wonders and magic of Talamh. But with spies on their home turf and Odran and Yseult still trying to get through the peace won’t last long.Plus there’s evil lurking very close to home and it means Breen deadly harm. I’m sure you can guess who I mean.(The only issue I had as I’m a Pagan Witch myself who observes the traditional sabbath and turning of the wheel is that Samhain is actually the New Year and is celebrated as such. The wheel then turns for Yule and the darkest night of the year and so on. Just the characters talked about the new year but it was after Samhain and I just thought I’d point that out. It’s not a big issue and doesn’t impact the story at all. But just in case anyone wanted to know.)

I absolutely loved it. I got sucked in and read it in 2 days. Can't wait for november :)
