2.5" 80GB/80G Portable External Hard Drive USB 3.0 Black (Blue)

The drive just made a spinning/clicking sound like it was trying, but couldn't do anything. NONE of my devices were able to even detect the drive, so getting to the formatting never even happened, and I have no idea how it even performs. Never got that far.

I bought this hard drive 2 years ago. Rarely use it but now it won't work. Went to an important conference and brought it with me to show my presentation and it would not engage with any computer. Just bought a new computer and trying to transfer files and it won't work. Very disappointed.

For the price it's worth it! Works perfectly well to save big storage files

Absolutely the worst external hard drive I have ever experienced in my life. It disconnects every minute or so or if the file changes. Speed I don't even know, cause of disconnection. Other hard drives are working just fine so I know for sure this one is working like crap. Worst purchase ever. If you are going to keep documents, maybe. HOWEVER if you are going to play any video saved in this crap, expect to reload your video every other minute or so.

I got this to save all my all work projects and ebooks from my classroom. Teachers have so many things to save. I just plugged it in and started moving files over with no problem. I did rename the folder because it was written in some type of Asian language. But I love the product for the purpose of storage all types of files and the great price. No issues.

You cannot imagine how helpful it has been for me. My laptop has the power to play games, though it only has 20 usable gigabytes built in. I've used up 70-some of those new gigabytes and am so glad I have this. At a little over 4 5/8" x 3 7/8" it's not very big. Only problem is the name that appears on the screen is in Japanese and I have no clue what it says.

I got this to record over the air tv. I first tried a memory stick a d it pixalated on playback. I got this and it faster so it worked great!

I haven't used it much. It's primarily for back up when we go camping. It doesn't need a separate power source. Thus far the few times I've used it, it has done just what it is supposed to do. I formatted it FAT32 so that it could be used with my wife's PC as well as with my Mac.

Not only do you actually only get 72GB because of crap that you can't get rid of, but using it as a backup device for Windows 10 failed miserably. Also had trouble moving files from computer internal hard drive to the external hard drive.BUT a "positive" would be that it is a very pretty blue just as shown in pictures!
