This product is made in France and comes in an unsealed bottle.It's currently $26 for 8.4 oz which is a fair price if you're in need of a truly gentle shampoo.I have very fine, thin medium length hair and have included photos of what it looks like after using this shampoo.The shampoo is very runny and almost clear. It's got a pleasant fresh floraly scent, but it's very light - I appreciate this as I get headaches from many scents.It lathers quite nicely and washes out easily leaving my hair clean but not stripped.I do tend to have an oily scalp, but in the winter it gets a bit dry and itchy, and this shampoo is kind of soothing to it without being or smelling medicated.My only complaint is that it seems to weigh down my hair just a bit. I already have pretty flat hair and cherish any bit of volume I can get, but this shampoo makes my hair just a touch too soft and heavy. This is a sacrifice I'm willing to make for the formula.I don't think most people will notice a big difference or be impressed with this shampoo as it is thin, lightly scented, and cleans just fine, but having sensitive skin all around I can tell you that this is non-irritating and hydrating.If this fits in your budget I do recommend.

This leaves my hair full & shiny. It does not lather much & it is a bit runny so the experience while using it is not wonderful but the scent is heavenly and the end result is very good. The scent is an herbal type of scent – not really perfumy. I can still smell it after my hair is dry but it is light & not obnoxious. My husband also likes it so win/win.The first time I tried this, I did not use a conditioner to see how it performed on its own. It was great – I could actually comb out my shoulder-length hair easily (my hair tends to tangle without conditioner). My hair still looked good the next day.I have healthy, naturally wavy, shoulder-length hair with an oily scalp.Made in France

I was not a fan of Lazartigue Extra-Gentle Shampoo,at all. The shampoo is very runny, has weird scent and doesn't lather well. I've used, perhaps, 4 times as much as my usual shampoo just got get my hair clean. The hair is soft after, but my scalp is dry and itchy after using this shampoo.Considering all of the above (and that the bottle is small and expensive), I would not repurchase this shampoo.

This shampoo really is gentle on hair and scalp. It also cleans pretty effectively and hair does not feel stripped after use. It makes enough lather so that you do not need too much product to clean even long hair. It also rinses out quickly.The scent is a little odd, but it fades by the time your hair is dry. This would be a good choice for those of us who tend to wash our hair daily, and don’t want to stress it out.
