My son absolutely loved this fox. I got it for him a couple months ago I have something to hold on to when he would fall asleep. He would love on him and hold him up to his cheek and face. Recently over the course of a couple months I started to realize my son's cheeks started to become very dry and red, almost like eczema. I started to look back at the pictures I took of my son and when I first gave him this toy. I went through many options as to what could be drying his cheeks out, since I only use 100% cotton on him and everything sensitive. While this may not happen to every baby, my son has very sensitive skin. I did not realize that this plush toy is completely made out of just polyester which is what mink is. Polyester, rayon, spandex, are all very drying to a baby with sensitive skin. Sadly I had to take it away from him, and ever since then his cheeks have been a hundred percent better. This is a wonderful toy though, it is well made and you were able to wash it. It is nothing against the maker of the product whatsoever, however, if your baby suffers from sensitive skin then I would be careful as to giving this to them, as it may dry their skin out while sleeping or placing it next to their face.

This fox is adorable and I had planned to embroider my new grandson's name on it and give it to him for Christmas. When I took it out of the box, I noticed that it had a very strong odor. It smelled like mildew even though the item looked fine. I'm not sure if it was a certain type of fabric, or the stuffing material, but I did not want to take a change of giving it to my grandson and having it be something harmful. I had the return approved and will be sending it back.
