I like the green color and notation on the bag that it is biodegradable/compostable. The right size for purchased items and reusable for throwing out the garbage. I would buy it again.

I was pleasantly surprised at just how strong these bags are. Will be buying more in the future.

Writing this review, for me—is nothing short of amazing. Taking time out of my day to write a review about a garbage bag?? Do I have too much time on my hands? The answer is “No!!!” I absolutely have to thank the people who made this bag. I use it for household garbage. It can be used for so very many other things. But in my household—-the vast majority of the time, these bags are being used for the disposal of the garbage that exists at the end stage of food preparation. I had used three other brands of bags before I was so fortunate to come upon this brand. All of them came in super-boring colors—white, or brown. But that was never a problem at all, because I had no idea a garbage bag could actually look pretty!!! 😄 What I wanted from any one of these three brands of garbage bags was: for them to never tear and leak; and when I reached for a bag—-WITH ONE HAND—-to pull it away from the pack of bags it was attached to, I wanted to easily have ONE bag in my hand—were it filled with garbage, or still unopened, not yet used. That was not to be. 😡 The bag I wanted had two other bags attached to it. Now, I had to stop what I had been doing with my left hand, & use it to help my right hand to separate the bag from the other two hangers-on!! 🤮 Life is too short to have to deal with this inconvenient stupidity nearly every time I reached for a garbage bag!!! Okay—-cut to the chase!! I bought these bags—the fourth brand I was hoping to be… the one!! I took one bunch of (all-connected) bags out of the box they came in, & then hung the right side & then the left side “handles” onto the metal “arms” of the bag carrier—(just like the ones we see when we wheel the cart over to either the self-service check-out, or an aisle that has an employee “bagger”.) These new bags are a happy shade of green! 🌈😄 I had no idea I’d care at all about the color, but these bags were actually adding a a very pleasant color to my kitchen! From the sink, I reached over to pull one bag away from the bag holder, and… VOILA!!!!! I had ONE ACTUALLY PRETTY GREEN BAG in my hand!!!! I scooped a bunch of wet garbage out of the sink (that needed to be thrown away, not put in the garbage disposal) & put it in the pretty green bag, tied it tightly, & waited… & lo and behold! Nothing leaked!!!!!! The fourth time was a charm!!! And EVERY SINGLE TIME—-without exception—that I pull a pretty green bag off the holder, I get ONE bag; one that never leaks. End of this stupid petty problem!!!! DONE! Now, I can get on with my life, still in a good mood 😂👍👍🤣, and ready to address the normal everyday happenings that need my attention. Who wouldda thunk that so many brands of garbage bags are so poorly designed, or that one brand could actually consistently perform perfectly, & be pretty at the same time? 🌈😋🌈

We've had a couple of catastrophic failures with these - I guess two out of almost five hundred isn't terrible, but that's two more than I've had with any other comparable item. They split, not at a seam but on the side. They weren't overloaded, nor were they carrying anything sharp or pointy. In fact they split open with a granular load (think loose barley corns or couscous) which promptly went all over the floor. Now we're double-bagging to try to ensure we don't have a third episode (but that kind of negates the whole "more environmentally friendly" thing for us).

🇨🇦 has gone no plastic but we have animals & need bags. I was surprised that our government would not allow stores to use these kinds of bags. So we bought our own & they are the same size as the plastic bags we got from stores which we definitely needed.Hope this helps
