Professional Toenail Clippers – 5 Inch Stainless Steel - Silver Thick Toe-Nail Clippers for Ingrown Toenails & Thick Nails

I inherited very thick and tough toenails from my Mother, and have had a lifetime of struggles. She had a similar pair of trimmers that worked well (and were probably bought in the 1960's). I have been through several, and when my last pair broke, I went hunting for a high quality set of trimmers.I was attracted to this pair because they look amazingly like the pair my mom had, and the price was right, so I took a chance. Two days later (thank Prime) they arrived, and immediately out of the package, they were high quality. Very smooth action, and quite easy to use, they handle my tough, thick, ingrown prone toenails with aplomb.Just what the doctor ordered.

Only have used them one time so far but they performed very well. Good product for a good price. Delivery was prompt and received them on time as scheduled. Only reason for not 5 stars is that I have not used them long enough to answer a durability question that I have open with other similar clippers: I have had two mechanical failures with other types but so far, this one is doing well and seems to be of a lot stronger.construction than the others .

Pros: Quality steel and simple to use. Sharp perfectly meshed cutting edges.Cons: The plastic/vinyl case is a piece of junk - throw it away. The barrel spring keeps falling out. The closing clip is very hard to open and close.

I saw the positive reviews for these and decided to give them a try and I gotta say these things work like magic. Easy to use and definitely cut toenails with ease. The company even e-mailed me to see if everything was all good so shout out to them

The clippers arrived with the spring not attached to the prongs on the handles. It still worked by positioning the spring between the handles with each use. I was contacted by the company to inquire about my satisfaction with the clippers so I apprised them of the problem. In less than a day, I received a very nice note from a customer rep offering to replace or refund. I am so impressed with their willingness to make the situation right even though I had not asked for anything! For this reason, I am giving them 5 stars! According to my brother who is the recipient of the clippers, even the defective clippers work like a dream on his very thick toe nails, once the spring is inserted.

It did the job perfectly. That's the pro.. The con, hard to open and close. What a job to do that. For $10, you'd think it would be better.

Piece of junk. Like the 1 star review posted on the 10th it fell apart right out of the package. The spring circular gismo designed to help the two sides to open when in use can not remain on the clippers and just fall off while the guismo designed to lock the sides closed for safety while not in use will not lock closed from unalighnment.

The spring does not work very well, but tool is sharp.
