I finally got around to installing this piece of crap and it did not work. It would not ever power on. Power never came on nor did the current pass through to the load. Do not buy this. I wish I would have known this 17 days before my return window closed.

A little challenging to program, but working as intended.

Works as it should, nice product

I used this timer to control a circulator pump. It is extremely easy to install, wire, and program. After installation I attempted to test operation and found the relay would not cycle on during a timed test or when the relay was manually turned on. I was resigned to purchase a different relay and disassembled the faulty one to see if I could spot the problem. On opening the timer enclosure several solder balls come out along with the circuit boards, not a good sign! The timer mains power was rated at 12vdc so I confirmed the coil voltage of the relay matched. I then connected 12vdc directly to the relay coil and to my surprise it cycled and the "on" led lit. Just for kicks I reassembled the relay and connected it to mains voltage, on testing it in manual mode it worked! I tested it in automatic "timer" mode and it continued to function normally. I now have it reinstalled, wired, and programmed with the plan to watch operation in case it fails again. I suspect the random solder balls prevented normal operation, this is the result of inexpensive mass production... the price you pay.

It starts and stops on push control only. I can not get it to work automatically. Still working with it.
