Like other books by Sherri Haab, I found this one to be charming, easy to follow and upbeat, with many interesting projects. Most of the projects are easy. The photos are clear and appealing and the book has a nice, contemporary feel to it. The author's writing is engaging and helpful. User friendly, great looking, and useful book. However, I resold this book soon after discovering how difficult resin clay was to work with. I tried a few different types of resin clay, experimented with different methods, but found it to be a big hassle. Looking back, I wish I would have kept the book and adapted the projects to polymer or another type of clay.

I did review this book before I purchased it. There was specific information about types of resin clay and the properties of each, tools, informative ideas on coloring the clay and plenty of good tips. Some very attractive projects are included. I found this book to be just what I was looking for and use it frequently for reference as I am working.

A good introduction book for people who have never worked with resin clay before. As I have worked with other media and clays I had a few questions that were not answered in the book. Sherri Haab has a website and contact that I will seek for further questions.

I purchased this book to get a quick overview of available resin clay products and finishing techniques for the medium. To that end, I wasn't disappointed. The projects aren't suited to my taste but I don't think that distracts too much from its teaching ability.

I had never heard of resin clay, so I didn't understand what I was getting. Lucky for me. It was such a good book, that I kept it to learn about resin clay. I'll buy another book a about liquid resin.

The instructions are very nice but the projects seem a bit clumsy and not as finely detailed as I was hoping. I find that the instructions on method will work well to teach but the projects do not inspire.

I got this book in record time and I can't wait to try the projects in the book. They would be fun to do. the instructions are clear and concise.

After years of being absent from the world of resin clay and wanting to get back into it, I found the perfect book! Thank you, it's brilliant!

I was disappointed to see that this book brings nothing new...the only interesting tutorial is the coral, others are very coarse.
