This Spyraflo PB-LT Series pillow block bearing has an aluminum housing and a PTFE-impregnated bronze-plated steel bearing insert with a 10-millimeter bore diameter. It is suitable for use in low-temperature environments to support shafts that carry radial loads, such as in refrigerated material handling. The one-piece sintered aluminum bearing housing is lightweight and corrosion resistant, has a flat square foot to help accurately align the housing, and has two bolt holes. The sleeve bearing's bronze plating has polytetreflouroethylene (PTFE) impregnated into its porous structure to provide a film of lubricant between the bearing and shaft and help ensure long life. This bearing allows self-realignment of up to 5 degrees and compensates for static and dynamic alignment errors, it has an operating temperature range of -200 to 200 degrees F, and it is permanently sealed and lubricated to help extend service life.
