This African Violet pot is a self watering pot perfect for violets and moisture loving house plants. The outer pot is glazed outside and inside and is the part that you fill with water. The insert is where you put your plant. Only the upper rim is glazed so that water can be absorbed by the unglazed bisque portion as it is needed. Outer pot: Whimsical owl planter measures about 5.5 inches in diameter by 5 inches tall. Insert: The planting area of the insert is 4.5 inches across by 4 inches deep. It measures 7.5 inches across the top of the lacy part.
