Good capsule construction, works ok, medium coffee, tasted pretty fine, good value
These "Meseta Monorigine Brasile" (40ct) Nespresso OriginalLine compatible capsules are fine. The packaging is premium, and the capsules are of full aluminum construction, very close to Nespresso-branded ones. They worked relatively fine on my Nespresso U Machine, yet, the throw/flow-rate/pour of the espresso is not 100% the same as the original ones. Most of the time, even though the flow-rate is a little slow, they do pour a full "espresso" amount, so I considered these "working fine" (but not perfect). The flavor of the coffee is pleasant, although not the most intense; they rated themselves at "8" (out of 12?), so in their scale, this is slightly more intense than medium, which I think the rating is ok. These Meseta coffee tasted premium and crafty, very smooth. The crema is pretty good too. I drank these straight up as well as making lattes out of them, and I liked them both ways.Made in Italy, premium coffee, and good value; $20 for 4 boxes of 10, totaled to 40 capsules, coming out to be around 50c per capsules, a bit cheaper than Nespresso-branded ones. I think it is totally worth your try, especially if you have one of those Nespresso machine that has a "mechanical" engagement rather than my "electronic/automatic" engagement mechanism (on my Nespresso U).Thank you for reading this review, I hoped that this review & the pictures are helpful to you in support of your purchase decision.

Good value Nespresso pods worth trying
We are experienced Nespresso OriginalLine aficionados here and have tried more than 20 varieties, mostly Nespresso brand at .70 per capsule but also several other premium brands that are just as good at a better price point. These made in Italy pods from Meseta rival other third party pods at only .50 each yet do not have flavor nuances of premium pods.Because we drink mostly Cappuccinos and our daughter prefers Lattes, we ordered the darker yet smooth Armonico roast. Smooth as expected—no char and deeply resonant. I’d place it as slightly darker than one of our favorite Nespresso blends, Intensity 8 Roma.Other third party pods worth exploring include Human League Dark, a notch above another good value coffee: Intensity 10 Lavazza Deciso, yet at double the price. Another favorite Nespresso compatible coffee is the medium intensity “1939” from Made by Mama in Lucca, Italy. You may wonder which is the most expensive pod for Nespresso Originale? That’s the Black Ivory “expelled” and well washed from elephants in Northern Thailand. It’s exquisite yet quite the splurge at $17 a pod.In conclusion, this is good and satisfying coffee and well worth trying. It rates a high five on quality and also on value. Even if price is no object, I predict you will be as pleased as my wife and I.

Good, bit earthy
It may be funny to review packaging but I liked that this was simple and didn't have the cardboard with holes to hold capsules in place within the box. That cardboard piece is in the original Nespresso, Peet's & L'or, which always seemed like it was in the way. I also like that the opening for the box clips to the tab better than other brands so it keeps the box closed. Now, to the coffee. Prepped this 2 ways, the first being a lungo shot and black. It was strong and very earthy. Though it came from a Nespresso machine, it reminded me of Turkish Coffee prep, probably coz there were sips that felt muddy as though the fine grounds was mixed in. I don't normally drink black coffee these days but did for a time. I personally wouldn't pick this one if drinking black. The second prep was a long shot with a dash of oatmilk. This is my preferred way of drinking coffee these days and this coffee was good for this prep. The oatmilk I used is Planet Oat, which feels bit thin for the level of intensity. I would recommend a creamier vegan milk or regular milk for better flavor.I had the Peet's, L'or and Meseta consecutively each day for comparison sake. They are all very comparable with slight differences. I think Peet's was smoother, L'or had a bit of a burnt taste and Meseta had a more lingering earthy aftertaste.I would pick Meseta or Peet's when buying a Nespresso compatible pod. Meseta is better in terms of overall value.

Fantastic value, nice medium\medium-light roast capsules.
Gave these a whirl and was extremely pleased with the product. Although my 'normal' espresso is an extra-dark roast (I've spent time with the Kazaar but lately more Late Nite Lemur), I consume a wide variety of coffee brew methods and also enjoy the full-spectrum of roasts including what I consider the 'default' - medium roast as drip\french press, and espresso.Produces an enticing aroma when brewed, with a pleasant flavor I find to be on the lighter side of medium roasts (It's okay, people - lighter roasts retain more caffeine from the bean). Drinks well both as straight espresso or mixed in with frothed milk as a latte. Prepare it however you like - It hold up well regardless. Works admittedly better with added flavors than a dark roast would - say as a latte with a couple of pumps of vanilla or caramel, where the espresso doesn't overpower everything else. And that's part of why I sometimes want a medium or light roast - for a little variety; Frothed milk or a dollop of cream, and some added flavor.Aside from being eminently drinkable, what's really nice about the offering is the price point. I consider myself fortunate to get somewhere in the neighborhood of $0.50/capsule, and these (as the 100 pack) come in well under that, just below $0.40 a pop. That's bound to take the sting out of your quintuple-shot lattes or cuppa drip with two extra shots, and WITHOUT sacrificing flavor.Would do again, would recommend to anyone with a Nespresso machine (Except you people who bought Virtuo line machines - You brought that on yourselves. For shame.).
