Horses Kiss Magnetized Salt and Pepper Shaker Set

I used to collect S&P shakers as a child. Then I drew the boss' name for our annual Christmas party. She's hard to buy for, but breeds horses, so I thought this would be perfect, plus I knew she didn't have them!! They were a hit, now all the horse lovers at work want some!!

I gave these out as a Christmas gift and they were so cute. The person I gave them to loved them.

I got this for a friend who loves horses. I like to give gifts that are also functional so this seemed to be just the thing. It's true, the magnet is in the sides of the horses, not in their noses. The magnets are also bare, no paint covers them up, they're just right there in the horse's sides. When they're stuck together this is a non-issue, you can't see it in any case. Also, if the magnets were in their noses it might make the horses less stable. As it is, they stand well on their own or together. If the exposed magnet doesn't bother you, then this will be a great gift.

Can't remove the plugs. We bought a set of these and our daughter broke one before we ever got around to filling them, so we bought another set. When we went to fill them the plugs could not be removed. They were melted to the shakers or painted to them. Every one of the four plugs (between 2 sets) ripped. 2 of the 4 just had a small hole in them and probably be used, but the other 2 were totally destroyed. If you can get the plug out in one piece, it goes back in and can come back out fine.

Cute as a decorative set. However, hard to get the plug out underneath to fill the shakers. Both plugs broke and I needed to purchase additional plugs in order for the shakers to work.

The little plugs on bottom of the shakers both tore when trying to get them out to put salt in. Very dissatisfied.
