there are a lot of specialty cookbooks on the market and they all try to spin traditional recipes to make them unique. The Fanny farmer cookbook has stayed the same for over 100 years only updating recipes to reflect new technologies and or materials.So when our senior college year grandson started living off campus he turned to us for recipe help for the basics. We sent him a copy and he is now reliving our learning experience and enjoying every meal.
