Nice quality but very difficult to distinguish Salt from Pepper - I had to add my own stickers.
The salt and pepper grinders were nice quality and the wood well finished. Relatively easy to fill. The quality of the grind was very good, and I found that if I wanted to I could get a very fine almost dust like grind. However the major problem I faced was that I needed my reading glasses on to be able to distinguish between Salt and Pepper. The only distinguishing feature is a small etched S or P on the top of the adjusting ball knob.I had to get a friend with a stencil machine to cut out an S and a P that I could place on the front as shown in second photo.I have shown a photo of the Salt pot with a 5p coin on it, next to the "S". You can see how even the lettering on a small 5p coin stands out more than the etched "S" on the salt pot.If you cannot see the lettering on a 5p from the sort of distance you would want to see whether you were reaching for a Salt or Pepper, you might need some lettering on the grinders too.So for the quality of finish and quality of grind, I have scored 4 stars, dropping the one star due to the difficulty distinguishing between salt and pepper.I paid £19.54 on Amazon for these, in Feb 2022. They appear to often have a 10% discount voucher tick box, so take advantage of that if offered near the price flash

Doesn't hold as much as one would think.
Bought to replace a plastic salt mill which broke spewing half its contents all over the floor. Sturdy and stylish, very easy to operate with a smooth grinder and sizeable hand grip, a real bonus if you suffer from arthritis. Filling it is a little fiddly because the neck is obstructed by too much metal holding the top in place which traps the peppercorns; salt crystals pour into it slightly more easily. I have had wooden mills before with a better design where the whole top simply unscrews but didn't have time to search for similar, so decided that a good grip and easy action was worth the sacrifice.

Strong and sleek, but gets dirty very quickly
I very much liked the look of these, and we used them for quite a while - filled one with salt and the other with black pepper - however, the grinding heads got very dirty very quickly and it was hard to properly clean them after having used them for a while so in the end we decided to throw them out.

Grinds very well
We're very happy with this set. It grinds very finely and is easy to use. Only downside is the 'S' and 'P' on the tops are not easy to see, but that could just be our eyesight!

When filling make sure you don’t x thread the ball on top
We’ll made but ball on top should be bigger

Looks good
They look and feel good. I found them easy to fill and easy to use. Others have said the S & P on the top is difficult to see. I don't find them difficult to see and I'm old!! If you do, my suggestion would be to put a blob of bright nail varnish on one so you can easily distinguish them.

Very easy to use
Very easy to use and not prone to breaking and easy to hold
