Not bad, but not perfect.
The media could not be loaded. The video goes into much more detail, including full testing. However, in a nutshell:Things I liked:+ Feels like a very solid Cat 8 cable.Things I didn't like:- A noticeable speed reduction (roughly 12.5%) when using this cable compared to not using this cable.Do I recommend it?If the price is right and speed is not an ultimate priority, then fine. However, in my testing (see the video), speeds with the cable averaged around 535Mbps and 560Mbps, without the cable in the connection were 620Mbps and 635Mbps. Bear in mind that the addition of an extra cable is likely to account for some of that performance drop. However, I will note that I have tested other Cat 8 cables in this way where the change in performance has been negligible.

Ready for the future, and backwards compatible to current networks.
This Ethernet cable supports Cat8, meaning it's ready for mega-fast networks. Unfortunately, I don't currently have a mega-fast router, so I can't make full use of the cable, but it's backwards compatible so it still works perfectly.I've got it between my PC and the router, and it's nice to know that any bottlenecks or data issues I encounter are not going to be caused by a poor-quality cable, even when I upgrade to a more capable router. This is a shielded cable, and should be used with shielded Ethernet sockets. Using a shielded cable with a router that isn't designed for it can cause more interference than it cures. That said, I only just found that out, and I've been using shielded cables in my router's unshielded sockets for ages without any issues! Your mileage may vary, and I'd generally advise using the category of cable appropriate to your network. Using a category that's higher than you need doesn't always mean better performance. If your network can make use of this cable, I recommend it.

Well screened and robust CAT8 cable
As usual CAT8 cable si bit thicker than the older cables but should hold the speeds up over a longer distance then them. This cable is marked PIMF - meaning each of the 4 wire pairs run in their own metal foil screen. The screening is brought out at the plugs to a 'gold' metal cladding of the plug surround. So this cable should not emit or be affected by interference as it runs and should easily cope with/exceed the speeds available from most home devices, routers etc.I confirmed the screen connection runs end to end and gave it my usual test of adding it to an already marginal TV network connection and running the Netflix Tester. Despite adding the extra length (and a connector) there was no measurable reduction in speed and all the Netflix checks for servers, 4K UHD etc were quickly passed.

Works great, allows hight speed connections
I got this 1.5m CAT8 ethernet cable so I could connect my laptop to the home network and allow me to access much faster internet than I would via wifi. I have not experienced any issues since using them. The connection has been reliable. The cable is flexible so it will bend to where you need it, the ports are strong and have a nice click as the go in the network box and the laptop. These have many uses, if you are looking for a great quality CAT cable at a reasonable price this is worth a look.

Cable-tastic!
There really isn't much I can say about this cable to be honest as it either works (and works consistently) or it doesn't.I can safely say that this falls into the former category and works exactly as I hoped it would. Data transmissions, for me, have been fine so far, it is decently made and for my use purpose is absolutely great. No noticeable issues or problems means I can only recommend this cable for your consideration
