I purchased this as a present for my wife, who recently began her career as a pediatric GP. She's completely amazed by this stehtoscope, and to be honest, so am I: The sound is so clear, and having option to switch between two modes (heart and lungs) is really awesome and cool. Amazing piece of tech! :D Also the battery seems to be lasting for days.

I have been a nurse for over 15 years and I had always use Littman stethoscopes, not only they have the best quality but also are very comfortable to my ears. So for years I was dreaming on buying the D3200 electric stethoscope, and when finally got it I loved it. Only downside was that I couldn’t share the recorded sounds because I didn’t had a windows computer and they were jot comparable with my MacBook. But that was ok. So when I saw the Littman Core sthetoscope I knew I had to have it. Specially because I could share the sounds just from my iPhone to any of my colleagues. Well I ordered it and I was very disappointed. I tried for almost a whole month and after I called customer service I realized that mine was a defective one. So I returned and the same day in the afternoon I got the replacement. The replacement is much better. I can actually increase the volume but I don’t find that the noise cancelllation is that great at all, almost none. When I record the sound in the app you can barely hear it when trying to play it. I tried to hear it from my iPhone, tablet and MacBook and still the sound very low. Which is not optimal when you want to send it to a colleague in the hospital setting where is always so noisy. But not even in the quietest environment you can hear it good. The designs is great, customer service is amazing, but the sound quality can be improved and it is not what is advertised.

Great for anyone whose ears aren’t as good as they used to be or for anyone who wants to hear sounds been better than they ever have before. I haven’t even used the app, yet I am thrilled with the Stethoscope itself. Great when there is a lot of background noise too
