Awesome bag but HUGE
Really well built. Thick insulation but this 80x40 is massive. Seriously big enough for a monster…

Excellent
Let me start out by saying that this is not a Fake Review. I fish out NC, Beaufort inlet and Oregon inlet. I got this bag specifically for big yellowfin and big eye tuna. Bag is huge. I am 6’3 230 and I can easily fit inside it. Very durable and well insulated. Don’t worry about the size. Easily fold up when not in use. Would rather have a bag this size then to not have one big enough to hold that 200lb Big Eye or all those yellowfin.

It is exactly ok.
Had it out on 2 trips so far, the insulation is maybe 1/2”-5/8” thick, so don’t expect it to do any more than is thermally possible. But for a day out fishing, mostly in the sun/mixed fog, it does just fine. It is a get what you pay for scenario, if you spend more you will get more. Kill bag is much better spatially than a big cooler with similar capacity, and the price is good. When the bag is full it gets a bit hard to open and close, but I think some lube on the zipper will help that out. Seems durable enough, rockfish spines haven’t seemed to puncture it yet. I wouldn’t put it in the major leagues, but it does play ball…

Tested and true
I have transported up to 1/2 Beef (half a steer) in one bag. With 16 lbs ice in 32-73 F temperatures The bags kept 99% of meat completely frozen. I only had a few packages starting to thaw only because I did not line the bottom of the bag with a bit of ice.MI was able to put 420lbs (half beef+\-) plus 32 lbs of ice and close the bag (using the provided zipper Lube).Roughly 60 hours later enduring temps 29-73 degrees F and only had 2 packages at bottom corners begin to thaw.These Bags are recommended for large primal and small cuts of any protein.

Very impressed with this bag
I raise pigs and harvest my own animals. I harvested a 100# roaster this past week and had no room in my chiller for a whole pig. So I bought this bag. Held a 105# dressed pig and 70 pounds of ice no problem. Ice barely melted in 24 hours and carcass temped in the mid 30s Fahrenheit the next morning, which is perfect from a food safety standpoint. Got the temp down in about the same amount of time my chiller set for 30 does. Was kept in the shade and high temps were in the low 60s.
