The best series ever read
One of the best series I have ever read. It is full of puzzles (try to solve them before the characters do), adventure and is very fast-paced.

Nice adventure for children
Adventure - mystery - thriller ... for pre-teen children, can be enjoyed by their parents and grandparents too. It throws up a surprisingly large array of emotions - joy, anxiety, fear along with thriller elements like suspense, mystery, drama. As a reader who has grown up reading Enid Blyton, Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew in childhood, this will satisfy you ... mostly. However, the fun element could have been a little more prominent.

Kids absolutely loved it! There were fun discussions on the table and involving conversations about the plot or even predictions about whats going to happen. Like I said for the Sequels of this book, This is a great series and kids will devour this book.Funny and adventurous, didn't let my kids put it down. My 15 yr old and 10 yr old have read it multiple times and would like to read it again in the future. Every time they read it , They loved it!!

Lovely book
Beautiful cover. The pages are of a good quality abf has that new book fragrance. The font is of good size. I'm giving only four stars because the front cover was slightly folded and the mark is somewhat visible but I'm very happy otherwise.

Better for older children than for adults, but too long
The Mysterious Benedict SocietyBy Trenton Lee StewartGenre: Adventure/Thriller/ImaginationAudience: Older childrenThe first 10-15% and the last 10-15% of this book are imaginative and entertaining; there are some delightfully creative incidents and revelations in both places; one, near the end, is clever, and another, at the end, is brilliant. The vast middle of the book is juvenile, even silly; and the far-from-clever plot wanders in random fashion.Whereas grown ups are likely to get bored, older children could enjoy it because of the adventure/thriller elements; but it could tax them because it is far too long (the book has nearly 500 pages). The prequel to the series, The Extraordinary Education of Nicholas Benedict, was definitely better.

Fantastic!
I'm an adult and had a blast reading this one. It feels like Harry Potter, without the magic. A group of kids head into a special school as spies and unravel a deadly mystery/evil plot. Characters are adorable, story is very satisfying. It's a big book, but I'd recommend it for ANYONE ages 8 and up, if they can handle it. It's a wonderful read, and the content is clean! No excessive violence, no language or sex. Just a fantastic kid book that's perfect for all ages~

Good story!
I read this book along-side my 11-year-old (he was reading it for a school project). The story is quite good and gets kids hooked, and it isn’t too complicated, so they just keep reading. Will buy the sequel!
