Great area rug, softer than I expected!
I was looking to replace my living room area rug that goes under my couch and coffee table with something more modern and simple. My old rug was a more traditional oriental style rug. This one caught my eye because of the neutral earth tones and the slightly unique size (7.5 feet versus the standard 7 feet). The size was perfect for my space, which is a little longer than it is wide. Keep that in mind if you're looking at other rugs in the more usual 5'x7' size.Based on the photos, I was worried that this rug might be too scratchy or rough, but I was pleasantly surprised at how soft it felt.Let's talk about vacuuming: this rug is harder to vacuum than most. That's the nature of the beast, I suppose, when buying a rug like this that isn't even or flat. The little bumps from the accent stripes cause a little issue when I'm vacuuming, but I just make sure that I have one foot on the carpet to pull it taught while I run the vacuum cleaner over those sections. All in all, I'm very happy with this rug. Especially at this price point, it's hard to find a good quality rug large enough for a living room.

Note the natural material
I love a good, natural fiber rug for many reasons. One, it keeps stains at bay and is neutral for many decor options. This is a nice rug. It is on the thiner side (which is expected with natural fibers) and is not super soft (it's not necessarily scratchy, but it's not something that's plush and I would lay on). It goes great in my living room that gets quite a bit of traffic. The neutral design is great for a boho or farmhouse look.

A little stinky and rough-textured, but the run looks nice.
I have this rug in my small "reading room" area. It helps define the space and looks nice overall. The rug was stinky when I first unpackaged it, but it aired out quickly. I like the pattern of the rug a lot--soft, neutral colors--though I will say that the texture is a little rough. It's to be expected with jute, but just be aware. It's very pretty in the room, so I'm happy with it.

a little thin but overall decent rug.
This hand-crafted / hand woven jute rug arrived without damage nor malodor. It looks pretty much like the images. The coarseness and irregularities of the woven patterns demonstrate clearly that it was handmade. The rug itself is a little too thin for me but it's a personal preference.

Beauty
The fibers of the carpet are not comfortable it feels kind of like a straw or rope fabric, it’s so beautiful though so I just put a fur carpet on top of it so that it’s softer to lay on. My dog seems to not mind it at all though.

Highly recommend
I was looking for a nice rug for my living room and I’m so glad I came across this one. I love the style and texture to this rug and it’s not too big or small it fits just perfect and it looks great too.
