If you're looking for reliable touring companions, the Ortlieb Back Roller Classic panniers are a no-brainer. Installation on the rack is incredibly simple, and their roll-top closure is foolproof – I've been through downpours and my gear stayed bone-dry. The capacity is fantastic; I easily fit everything for weekend trips with space to spare. These panniers make bike adventures stress-free!

I'm incredibly pleased with this bag. I use it to commute to work, and find that one of the two bags has plenty of room for my laptop, a few books, a change of clothes, and a lunch. It attaches to the bike rack easily, and detaches just as easily. The shoulder strap makes it easy to carry from bike parking to the office. I only wish it had an external zipper compartment for my mask! But that's just a small flaw in an otherwise excellent product. I have not had occasion ot test how waterproof it actually is, but a friend with the same bag says it keeps everything perfectly dry.

Product as described. My brother-in-law will be taking a cross country cycling trip. I would only trust Ortlieb waterproofing. Tried and true.

Love these panniers and got them at a great price. So easy to use, good capacity, and worryless rain protection.

The pannier fits my rear rack frame perfectly and stays snug over bumps and at speed. I ride a Class 3 electric bike and go fast and never have to worry about the pannier. Off the bike, the shoulder strap is undersized and uncomfortable. I park my bike in a bike shelter and walk several blocks to my office. I recommend that the shoulder strap be beefed up for carrying the pannier away from the bike.

I purchased one of the generic bags and the bag broke off my rear rack while riding. I then purchased the Ortlieb bag. Going forward I will just buy the Ortlieb bag at the start. I doubt I’ll need to replace this bag for a long time though.

Just google these things and you'll learn they are the gold standard in touring.

The color, how it fits on the rack (the adjustability of the back clamp), it's waterproofness, everything. Definitely recommend this!

Meiner Meinung nach sind die Taschen absolut ihr Geld wert!- robustes Material- gute Verarbeitung- riesen Füllmenge- (Regen)wasserdicht- mit wenigen Handgriffen ist die Haltung am Gepäckträger eingestellt- Haltung hält auch bei vollen Taschen problemlos- fast alle Elemente der Taschen und der Haltung gibt es als Ersatzteile beim Hersteller zum Nachkaufen - Pluspunkt für die Nachhaltigkeit!- super die kleine Innentasche mit Reisverschluss, ideal für Schlüssel oder Geldbeutelgewöhnungsbedürftig: das Einrollen und schließen der Taschen - hat man aber nach 3-4 mal auch raus und ist dann kein Problem mehr

Me las compré porque me había hecho el camino de Santiago con unas que teníamos por casa que eran mucho más complicadas de montar y desmontar. Por el camino ví estas muchísimo.No hay comparación con aquellas. Estas se ponen y quitar con una mirada, pese a lo cual quedan muy bien sujetas. La capacidad de carga es muy aceptable, cabe mucha cosa, son impermeables, el plástico parece resistente y que va a durar.Vienen desmontadas y hay que ajustar el enganche a los hierros del portabultos y un par de plásticos para ajustar los cierres que dejan estas alforjas sujetas. No había usado jamás alforjas de estas pero mirando el manual un rato lo pillé enseguida, es muuuuy fácil y no hay mucha forma de equivocarse.En fin, sencillas, prácticas y cómodas, lo que me esperaba de ellas.Muy contento.

These panniers are not cheap but well worth the money. Easy to assemble and sturdy and waterproof. The only thing is you have to make sure you tighten the nut on the rack holder when taking it off and carrying them around. I didn't and it fell off when I was in the supermarket and I had to buy a replacement. They can come off easily if not tight. Apart from that quality product.

週末の自転車旅用に購入しました。購入して約２ヶ月。雨の日も使用しましたが、安定した性能で安心して使えてます。雨に遭う事を想定した時、これ以上の自転車用パニアバックは他に有るのでしょうか？安いバックは山ほど有りますが、カバーを掛ける手間も無く『中の荷物が濡れる事は無い』と言う安心感は、ちょっと凄いです。取り付け、取り外しもとても簡単ですしね。容量は左右で40L有りますが、自分が持ってる衣食住の機材を詰め込むには少し物足りないかな？これはその人の使用する目的や、入れ込む機材の容量によって異なりますので、あくまでも個人の意見です。自分はフロントにもキャリアを増設して、バックを追加する予定です。今のところ不満無く使えている、素晴らしいバックです。
