I'm Canadian, so maple syrup has to taste like maple syrup, and this does. I have tried several brands in the UK and for some reason they like to mix other liquids into the syrup?!The MapleFarm organic syrup is lovely, tastes devine and compared to the stuff you get in supermarkets you save a ton.....and it's organic so no nasties.

Gros consommateur de sirop d’erable depuis que mon cousin est nationalisé au Canada, j’ai découvert la possibilité d’en commander en grandes quantités sur Amazon pour mon plus grand plaisir car il me revient bien moins cher qu’acheté dans les petits flacons. Malgré un achat récent, il y a un dépôt grisâtre qui sort du flacon. J’ai pensé à de la moisissure mais la date de péremption est lointaine. Du coup je filtre le sirop, mais j’avoue que ce n’est pas super appétissant ! D’où mes 3 étoiles. Je reverrai ma notation lors de l’achat de mon 2eme flacon.Je reprends mon commentaire. Toujours sur le flacon dont la date de péremption 19 12 2020. Je suis sur le fond du flacon et le dépôt est juste énorme, pour n’en pas dire à gerber. Voyez par vous-même. Le pot à plus de 20€ va terminer dans les toilettes !!!Ma notation tombe à une seule étoile. Et encore si je pouvais n’en mettre aucune je le ferai tant c’est dégoûtant.

I have been buying Maple syrup for many years, but organic Maple syrup is quite expensive. The Maple farm 1 litre bottle represents amazing value for money, being much cheaper than what is available in the supermarket. The syrup lasts for a long time, and I use a little most days. It is very easy to order from Amazon and arrives quickly. This product is a very cost effective way to get the best. I can recommend it and will be using it myself as a healthy alternative to sugar.

You may wonder how you can differentiate between maple syrups. That is probably because you have tried several from the high street stores. This maple syrup is different. It's thicker (but still pours easily), darker and tastier than you have had before. It is also great value and not least it has a great pourer! Forget dribbling down the side of the bottle. Forget getting it all over your fingers. This one just pours - and stops! I am really pleased I found it.

Maple syrup is a great sugar substitute if you are avoiding refined sugars as part of your diet. I always bring a bottle back with me when visiting family in Canada but it's hard to get hold of good quality authentic maple syrup here at a decent price.This maple syrup is by no means what I would class as affordable but it's still a lot more reasonable than others out there. This really is a lovely organic syrup, perfect for baking with. I had a muffin recipe that called for a whole cup of maple syrup so being able to buy the stuff by the litre is really handy.The only small issue I have with this product is that the lid only twists onto the bottle with the spout facing at an awkward angle (at a diagonal from the handle). That being said, I haven't spilt any syrup while pouring so although awkward, it's more of a niggle than a major design flaw.Having now tested this syrup I will definitely buy again and will likely buy the 1.89l bottle which is even better value.
