This rechargeable derma pen comes with a storage box, grey drawstring pouch, pink holder, USB cord, and 2 cartridges. It's easier for me to use this than other microneedling devices. The pen is pink metallic and holds a good amount of power after fully charged, enabling it to be used wirelessly. It has 5 settings so you can customize how much discomfort you can tolerate. I kept mine on the lowest setting. Overall this is a good, portable device that should have included more refill cartridges.

This pen worked well enough but as with all of these, proper precautions should always be taken. Inspect the needles under extreme magnifications and take all steps necessary to avoid infection. Things like this can go very badly if not used properly.Decent set that I would recommend.

I purchased this pen based on a round-up review of microneedles, and chose this one because it said it was best for acne scarring. I have spend the last 2 days trying to figure out which needle cartridge and length to use on specific parts of my face, which is out there for other brands but not for Mookardilane. The videos that they show are ridiculous and not instructional in the least. I will be returning this for a Mr Pen or Dermapen because there is so much more support that goes with these products.

I've come to love using dermapens to address various issues. They help with some issues by forcing your serum or other substances into deeper layers of your skin. It does take some practice and getting familiar with our dermapen, as well as how your skin reacts to them, but eventually you'll find what works best for you.This is a pretty dermapen, but it's the functionality and results that really matter here. Ultimately, the results are about the same with this dermapen as with most others. The downside with this one is that it has very limited functions. There are others that allow you to change the color of the light that is emitted on the skin as it's treating your skin. This has no lights at all. You can change the speed of the dermapen head, but you can't see what level you've set your dermapen. You'll just have to get use to the number of times you press the button or how it sounds at your preferred level. Then there's the fact that they only give you two dermapen heads. All others that I've personally seen set you up with a lot more. Honestly, I don't even know where to find replacement heads because I've not seen them around anywhere.This set does come in a plastic case and it includes a nice tray to lay this in when using.Considering that they are selling this for $149.99 (today's price) (plus an extra $50 off with a coupon), I find this still to be high considering that there are others that work just as well that offer more dermapen heads and even have light features, that sometimes sell for less. It's a good dermapen, but you'll have to determine your priorities and see what all is on the market at your time of purchase.

As an esthetician and cosmetologist, I have mixed feelings about these kinds of devices being sold for home use. On the one hand, it's great to think they could be used by clients as intermittent care to help lengthen the time between spa visits. On the other hand, it is very easy to damage your skin using a product like this incorrectly, and I feel concern seeing how popular they are with people who are not trained in careful use.This particular device has limited options, which can either help prevent too much experimentation or be so limiting people may apply too much pressure or use too deep of a setting. It works fine, powers on and functions well, but it is very basic without any real settings, so I really wouldn't use it facially. Even on the highest setting, the power is a little low which makes me worry people might be tempted to press too hard or use it too long. It probably would work best for working on an area like a C-section scar or other tough area that wouldn't be at risk for collapse if the needle depth or pressure was too intense.Overall I do think the device works well and is a decent value, but it's a little on the simple side and lacks power. Possibly recommended for simpler applications but I wouldn't purchase it again.
