These are handy and so easy to use. Only downside is that they disconnect from the WiFi, which means you won’t be able to use them with the app until you flick the light switch off then on. These also cannot be paired with the hub.

I like these bulbs as they connect easily with my echo dot & phone ,once you've downloaded the bulbs app and followed the instructions, if I've a gripe it's that sometimes they can lose connection to echo and or phone and I have to pair them or reset the bulbs but I think that's mainly down to my crap wifi connection than anything else, very good and fun to use, would recommend them.

When they are working these bulbs are great and really useful for setting the "mood" of a room.Unfortunately they are very unreliable and will normally be shown as "unavailable" after a few hours of inactivity.One of them is so bad that we just use it as a normal light bulb with no intelligent features.Shame really as the idea is good, just poor execution.

I’m sure it’s great, but a right pest to install. Have to get an app, register an account, find your WiFi password and then install it. I just want a light bulb that works - so much easier with genuine Alexa things that just work straight out the box. Giving it a few more hours of try to sort it out then may return as really can’t be doing with all this.

Not a bad colour range, better than some others for sure. The bulbs also maintain brightness when coloured. Easy to install (it's a bulb) and reasonably easy to setup too. The app isn't the most polished but has all the expected room control, routines and a handful of effects.The biggest issue with these bulbs is that they appear to be terrible at maintaining a WiFi connection, making them something of a liability if used as wake up lights for example. I tried on 2ghz only as detailed in some comments here and even on a dedicated router but they still refuse to stay connected beyond a couple of hours before you have to power cycle the bulb to get it to reconnect.In all not a bad colour changing bulb at the price (£10 each) if used occasionally or in a kid's room for a bit of fun but not reliable enough for anything important like use as an alarm or out of home controlled device.

Wi-Fi connection drops off even when power maintained on. This requires manual switching to re-establish Wi-Fi connection.

These bulbs were very easy to set up, the colour range is fantastic. I am not a fan of bright lights as I have a light sensitivity and suffer from chronic migraines. These lights can be as bright or dimmed very easily. Very happy with the purchase, would highly recommend
