Baby's Record Book Hardcover – Special Edition, July 1, 2008

This book is much much cuter than I was anticipating! Though I wish they had more areas for recording pregnancy and newborn milestones (not that there isn't plenty, but the one we got for our first daughter had a lot more to fill out in these categories - and I liked that), I LOVE that there is a multi-page section for each year beyond the first year, up to age five. Every other baby book I have seen just leaves one page for each birthday - this one has about 6-8 pages plus a thick page with a tab and pocket to put keepsakes in for each year.The only thing I found odd about the book is that there are a few transition pages that, though super cute, I didn't feel they were necessary - they could have used that space for more things to fill out or as photo pages. There are a few areas where they have two page spreads of different nursery rhymes or just graphics (by the way, the illustrations in this book are classic and ADORABLE and exactly why I picked this book over a more modern baby book) ... but I can always cover these pages with more pictures, if I feel the need.All in all, this is an awesome book and I am actually contemplating getting another one to re-record in for our first daughter so that both of our kids have the same baby book. Very cute and I love the pocket pages!

I was hesitant to purchase this book because of the limited reviews and pictures, but I was very happily surprised with the quality of this book when it arrived. There are envelopes included for keepsakes and plenty of spaces for writing down memories...I will NEVER be able to fill them all out but I'll sure give it a try! Another plus, it is a generic theme - no disney characters, book theme - which I appreciate. The only downside is that the seller just put the book into a box without any plastic wrap or protection so the outside cover is a little scuffed but it could be worse.

I got one of these for my first daughter and two years later, I got the same one to store memories and info for my second daughter. I think it's a good memory keeper book. It's not perfect in the sense that I would prefer that a few blank, lined pages for recording misc things and a few blank pages for more pictures. But there are enough pockets to store random things, like hospital id bracelets or whatever. As for blank space to write in, there is enough open white space that you can kind of make it your own space to write in, though not specifically designated for that. I think it's pretty functional overall. The main idea is to store all the milestones and early memories and it's good for that.

I didn't get this baby book until my little guy was 5 months old...I had this insane idea I would scrapbook everything. Then I remembered I'm a new mom and I hate scrapbooking. So I ordered this baby book. The book includes just about everything I was going to scrapbook with lots of room for pictures. There is not a place for month to month pictures, so I just included mine on some of the nursery rhyme pages. The best part is this book goes from birth to five and has pockets for other momentos. This would make a great gift for a soon to be parent!

I got this for my son in 2010 and wanted my daughters to match when she was born in 2012- I LOVE this- best baby book ever because it doesn't make have TONS of silly prompts, but does record the important stuff, has room for pictures and little envelopes for keepsakes. The other reason I love it is that it goes until age 5! My son is 4 now and I will be sad when I stop having a place to record things.

Really great baby record book! The price was perfect. I love the envelopes to slide items into for safe keeping. The pages are thick and vibrant colors. The animal designs are adorable. I really like everything about this book. My only concern is that the spiral bound pages may come apart someday. I would buy this again, for myself or as a gift.

I bought this baby book for my 3rd child. I wasn't to impressed with the cover but after reading the reviews decided to buy it. I agree with the reviews. This book has quality construction and is laid out nicely it also has places for photos and keepsakes. The book comes with recommendations to customize the cover (which I will do). I am buying this for my sister-in-laws shower gift I liked it so much.

i just got my book today and glanced at it before i had to leave and what i have seen inside the book was great lots of information and neat stuff to fill in and lyrics to the songs is great too cause i forgot the words to some of them however when i pulled the book out of the box the first thing i noticed is that the outside of the book was dirty, like it had been on the floor. and there is a black mark on the bottom across the edges of the pages...however for the price i'll deal with it...so other than the dirt it looks like a really good book but i think maybe the book should be in shrink wrap

This is a great record book. We've used this with our other 2 as well. It's got all of the standard things you'd like to track as a new parent to a baby.

Was brilliant had everything in it

I was gifted one of these baby record books with my first child. I liked it so much I bought the same one when number two came along. It has little pockets to hold items, lots of little prompts to write down dates of baby milestones. I am now giving them out as gifts to my new Mom friends.

Wonderful! The spine of the book had a little bit of wear but all in all, a great value. There are actually too many pages to be filled out, that's how much information could be kept on your child. I love it!
