Counterfeit!
Counterfeit product!!!!! I was ordering these to replace a genuine pair that I finally wore out after 3+ years. The counterfeit product has thin suede, thin, hard ankle straps, and cheapo plastic bottoms instead of leather with rubber pieces for traction. Shame on Amazon for allowing this.

All Over Comfort
Support under my foot could not be better for a flat. Stylish, soft, comfortable. My ankles swell following ankle surgery, and closed-toed shoes have been hard to find that look good. My rebuilt ankle will never allow me to wear heels again and part of my ankle motion is missing where bones were fused. So ... back entry zipper is wonderful, if straps can loosen a bit the shoes will even accommodate slight swelling. I found the zipper a bit stiff in moving, but there was nothing but gentle deer-skin leather surrounding my courageous ankle. I bought my normal size. I have a medium width foot with high instep. Hope this is helpful to someone looking for a healthy, feminine, nearly-sexy shoe!

Dreamy McDreamboat Shoes
Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. They fit perfectly (I'm a size 9) and were super comfy right out of the box. I took a 6 mile walk in these on the first wearing and only had a tiny bit of rubbing on my left heel (now they're broken in and there is no more rubbing). I also wear custom orthotics and they fit nicely in the shoe. These are perfect for city strolling and commuting.UPDATE: I bought the suede version of these in 2014 and they are just now getting replaced by a new pair in black leather because the foot bed of the first pair is starting to disintegrate (the upper part of the shoes still look pretty decent). They are comfortable right out of the box and the elastic holds up even though I never bother unzipping the back zipper when putting them on.I can't even tell you how many miles I put on these shoes, and they are worth every penny. I've walked upwards of 15 miles in these shoes in a day around cities near and far and they are my go to walking shoes. They look cute with jeans and skirts and are classy enough to wear for a nice dinner when you've got limited space for shoes in your luggage. You can often find them on sale at various shoe sellers on line, and Amazon has shoe discounts on occasion.Picture shows the wear after two years of intense walking in my first pair vs the new pair. If you wear these only occasionally, they should last you for many years.

Feel great on my narrow feet
The range of reviews shows that wide vs. narrow is not the only criteria that matters when it comes to shoe fit. I have a fairly narrow foot side to side, though not super narrow. But I do have a shallow foot -- low arch, low volume, so often my foot doesn't "fill" a medium width shoe and I need a narrow. These fit wonderfully! The ankle strap elastics are actually a bit long, but the shoe stays on my foot comfortably (my ankles are pretty skinny). The zipper is a little hard to get up and down, but overall these are great for me and very cute. The leather in the cement color is gorgeous and soft. Got them at a great Amazon price and am very pleased!

Most comfortable shoes I've ever owned and I am a shoe aficionado!
Wore these straight from the box all day on Christmas and that was a lot of being on my feet in the kitchen and visiting with family- no break-in time required. Ordered a 9, as I usually wear an 8.5 or 9. I may have easily worn an 8.5, but wanted to also give room for swollen feet at the end of the day. I plan to wear them often. They look great with pants, leggings, and dresses.I have had many compliments on them and will be ordering another pair because they are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I sustained a complete burst fracture of T-12 last year and have a lot of back pain so I'm always looking for a shoe with support and that is comfortable. Highly recommend these shoes.

Better than expected
I wear a 7.5 this shoe kind of hits that mark, but it's very wide. The elastic straps are great I love them, probably why I bought the shoe as flats do tend to be a bit boxy. But that's the good news. The suede is of very poor quality in fact there were a couple of bald spots when they arrived. I've worn them twice and the black finish around the sole is already worn. They have not yet started to conform to my foot, perhaps that takes a bit of wearing. I'd love these shoes at a $49.00 price but at $150 they are not anywhere near that quality.Months down the line I've revised my review somewhat. These shoes aren't perfect but I'm glad I bought them. If they were priced more affordably I'd buy a bunch of them. The straps are fantastic.

Poor quality construction.
Poor quality. Neither zippers functioned so I couldn't put shoe on my foot. I am not sure whether these shoes were authentic Gentle Souls or knock offs. My reason for this comment is based on the fact I previously had a identical pair of this shoe and gave them to my granddaughter. They were soft, supple shoes with high quality operating zippers. I returned these shoes to the sellar.

Not a Real Product
These are not the real thing. I have an exact pair next to me and these are not the same size, shape or leather quality. Do NOT buy. I returned to Amazon and they were very nice about it.

they are shocked at how comfortable they are
This is my second pair of these shoes. Get compliments every time I wear them and if I let a friend try them on...they are shocked at how comfortable they are. Fabulous shoe for many different outfits. If comfort is really important to you as it should be...but you are still looking for interesting and funky style - this is a great shoe for you. Particularly great when you can get it less than regular price with Amazon.

Amazing flats. If you're looking for something that won't ever hurt your feet, and you want to wear them all day ... these flats are for you! Exceptional quality and speedy shipping. I have had 5 co-workers specifically ask me for the product name as they want to buy them now!! They are super adorable , can be worn with many styles and feel luxurious.
