LIFE CHANGING.
I've been Shaving my Head for years and I've bought every new Trimmer on the market. I have the Wahl 5 star balding clippers, Andis T-outliner blackout (limited edition) and the Oster classic '76 with "00" and even "00000"... none of these clippers ever blew my mind the way this Magic little Foil Shaver does. Keep in mind, your Hair does have to be super short initially for the Foil to work but it will take your hair down to just above a straight Razor cut... insanely close without the shine . Perfectly CLOSE in my opinion. I shave my Head every other Day in literally five Minutes or less using only this, it literally changed my Life. Sometimes if I miss a few Days I have to cut the Hair with a clipper first before I hit it with the Foils, but it's still maybe 15 minutes tops. I've had my Profoil for 4 months and i've only charged it maybe 5 times. Insane Battery Life. It comes with a plastic guard to protect the Foils and Travels in my Shave Kit with me everywhere I travel. I can shave my head anywhere I like cause it catches almost all of the Hair! 4 months down with frequent use and the blades are still cutting extremely well. Cleaning it is super easy, you just remove the foils and brush the hair off of the blades and the body, and then you just put one drop of oil on each clean blade. I would suggest buying a nice Clipper Brush and a little Clipper Oil to keep yours nice, and clean like i do. Trust me when I tell you that if you Shave your Head and you don't own one of these, you're doing yourself a disservice. Light, Powerful, Great Quality and Cheap. For the rest of my life I will never use anything else! What are you waiting for?!

Best shaver for head shaving
I previously tried using Norelco and Braun shavers to use for head shaving. I found the Norelco to be irritating with pulling and snagging. A Braun Series 6 is so mild a shaver that it takes inordinately long to complete a head shave due to having to go over the same spot to get a complete shave.I noticed most barbers use the Andis shaver to finish fades or as the finish for a head shave. First off - the price is excellent here on Amazon and I received my shaver within a day (Thanks, Amazon!). The unit is very simple to use but more importantly - it provides an irritation free close shave. While my preference is to use a DE Safety razor for a close irritation free shave, the risk of nicks and cuts is always present regardless of how experienced a shave one is.Completing a head shave is fast and easy with the Andis shaver, taking less than 5 min for me. I do not need to make mulitple passes due to how close it cuts on first pass. It does not irritate me or tug/pull on hair.A number of users complain it's hard to clean. I honestly have not found that to be the case. The foil head pops off easily. The twin blades are easy to clean off using a soft brush or an old used toothbrush. It's really not hard at all so the criticism of how difficult they are to clean is a bit of a head scratcher.All-in-all, I would recommend the Andis shaver as one of the best all-around head shavers out there.

Six Stars!
This is, by far, the best electric shaver I have owned in the two most important categories for me: 1) Battery life, and 2) How close it shaves. I currently own another shaver (which I reviewed). Since I got this one, I basically stopped using the other one.Why did I get this shaver since I was happy with the other one? Simple. I suffered an injury and as a result, I could not raise my arms to shave my head. So, I visited a barbershop... a REAL barbershop. I noticed that some barbers actually used this model. So, out of curiosity, I bought it. This one simply outperforms my other one. The battery lasts AT LEAST twice as long. I can go weeks in between charges and I have my head every day. The other one gave me about a week in a single charge. The motor on this one feels more powerful. Although this one covers (obviously) a smaller surface area, it gets way closer to the skin, making for a smoother shave. The only drawback is that you have to be careful around the ears and other sensitive areas around your head. It might irritate your skin a little. Lastly, the other shaver has to be cleaned at least once every two days. I can go almost a week without cleaning, although I don't do that.Cleaning is where the other one "wins". The other shaver is way easier to clean than this one. This model is a bit harder to clean if you want to do a good job cleaning it. But even that is not that bad.I gave my old shaver a 5-star review. This is why I titled this review "Six Stars." It is just better. Plain and simple.

Nice Shave but Not Smooth
What is good: it is light and easy to use and clean so it's practical for quick shave for trimming more for a meeting or a night out when a razor shave is not available. It does leave a smooth shave on flat surface like cheek and mustache area. The battery life is unknown because after like twenty uses at about 5 minutes at a time, it hadn't stopped so I just recharge it.Con: It does give a smooth shave around the chin or if the hair is curled like for me in the neck area. I figured that the small holes do not let curled hairs through and doesn't work around any area that is not flat. See picture with opened blades. It doesn't come with brush so it the gaps are hard to clean but I used a soft toothbrush lightly so clean it.Otherwise, it has been my best shaver after using even better brands and types so I recommend this one for quick use and appearance of your face is fine, that is, smooth appearance but not clean. You can feel some stubbles.
