Edit: Two years later and still going strong! The phone still looks new when taken from the case. The case has held up with daily use. When I upgrade to a new phone next year I’ll look to buy the same case.To start, I really feel this should be under the commuter series and not the defender series. The size and profile is much more in line with the commuter series it is replacing than the defender series I have had previously. It is absolutely the sweet spot however. The MagSafe works very well and has been without issue with my magsafe phone mount in my off-roader. The case itself is sturdy and has plenty of lip to protect the screen and cameras. The case is also nice and smooth on the back to keep it from being a pain while getting in and out of a pocket, while also having nice grip on the sides to make it easy to hold. I wish I would have grabbed this case first before my commuter as it is essentially a beefier commuter with MagSafe.

I have been using Otterbox for quite some time, and they have never disappointed me. I am using this Defender XT case for iPhone 12 pro plus, the same for 13 pros plus. The best thing I like about the case is that it works with a wireless charger, and it's a little less bulky than other models, but at the same time, it's even more sturdy. It will not slip from the hands and is easier to put in and out of pockets than other Otterbox models. Overall I love this case but wish they had more colors.

Phone was dropped from scissor lift some 20 ft in the air. Hit concrete, screen down, everything was a-okay! The only complaint is that after having the case for 3 months, the charging port cover broke off. So I just got a new one.

I had an incident some years ago with a Defender case. I was walking on a short bridge that lead to a school auditorium when I dropped my phone and it bounced off my foot and over the edge. It landed on the cement sidewalk below and the only damage received wsa to the case, my phone was undamaged, not even a scratch. Fortunately, Otterbox has a fantastic warranty and it was replaced, no charge other then shipping. I have using Defender cases ever since and have never had an issue with damage.

Love Otterbox and the XT series cases. Only issue I have is the holster! I have to mount my phone screen out and camera edge as a wedge to keep my phone from not falling out. I tried my regular defender case and it fit perfect for the holster I received for the XT case. Don’t know if there was an error on otterbox’s end but I’m not happy with he holster. 3rd party holsters don’t do the job either. They are shaky.

If you want MagSafe AND good protection — I think this is the way to go personally…. The back is smooth so it can be a bit slippery but otherwise the sides and overall design seem great.

I drop my phone more times then I care to admit, so this is PERFECT! my glass screen protectors would break every other week with my other cases. Now since I switched the screen protector has yet to crack and I have had it for over a month.

Me gusta el diseño y la protección que ofrece para el iPhone, tambien me gusta que lo hace verse mas robusto. Lo uso con el mount del defender normal y funciona perfecto para llevarlo en el cinturon.
