Lu La Bath Brush - Articulated Handle w/Replaceable Lotion Applicator

I needed something to get lotion on my surgery leg after hip replacement. Bought the Lu La handle with lotion applicator, & also the separate sponge and pumice stone that easily can be substituted into the handle. I chose this system because the handle is longer than the solid ones and being able to make it straight or at various angles works great to reach all areas of back and leg. The lotion applicator is like a solid non-porous foam, so the lotion doesn't soak into it and get it all ugly and gross. I use a thin lotion, you don't want to put too much on at a time so you can use the lotion applicator to rub it in well. This system was not very expensive and works perfectly after my hip replacement a month ago.

The brush is well made and the ability to use it with the brush on an angle makes it easier to reach all areas of your back. The lotion applicator is acceptable, but I wonder if it wouldn't be easier to use a long narrow towel. The separate heads are easy to change and are secure in the handle.

I bought this for my 89 year old mother hoping she could apply lotion to her back and legs. It seems like it would work, but she could not hold the head flat against her body, maybe it would work for someone else, but did not meet my expectations. It is however, well made and I liked that you can attach different heads.

This is too big, heavy and cumbersome. Hard to travel with and, while it comes with a number of attachments, it does not make up for its weight and bulkiness.

I have spent a fortune (small one) buying items that did not do the job that the Lu La does. I recently had a drug interaction problem that caused me severe itching. I used the lotion applicator with some anti itch cream. I could reach everywhere I had a problem, either buy keeping it long or clicking it to an angle. I would recommend this product to everyone.

I love this brush and have all the attachments.

Handle works well and has sufficient positions however after just one use the sponge separated from it's base and needed to be glued back on. It seems to be holding now.

My husband died suddenly, he used to put lotion on my back after a shower or bath, not what it seemed
