It wasn't what I thought. From the look of the picture I thought it had a back support as well. The picture is just showing the two different positions you can place the cushion in a chair. I wouldn't have paid so much for the product if I've know it was a butt cushion. Now, that I've been using the foam seat; I actually can feel some relief from my tailbone. I like that the cushion doesn't go flat. Though, it wasn't what I thought I'm actually please, just not five star pleased.

We did not end up using it it's been a few months and it is just sitting there it's slips and slides on the bottom portion and we have leather seats so when my mom tries to sit down it's slides out of her way and causes discomfort

I bought it for when my father who has bone cancer visited us for a week. I intended to use it only for the wheelchair but my dad found it so comfortable that he would use it all the time. He went back to Europe and made sure to bring his cushion with him.

The firmness doesn't stay with the pillow after a few days. It worked well up and until that point.

This item is holding up quite well and really adds comfort to my recliner and in the car on road trips.
